The brief was to design, plan and execute a series of roadshows and engagement activities to engage the public and extend the spirit of the YOG beyond the games itself. The activities would Include SingTel Inspires Program, games site set up, 4 simultaneous roadshows island wide and a post YOG athletes appreciation event Our Thinking The direction for the roadshows was to recreate an environment that brings the main YOG to the heartlands so that everyone can immerse in the ambience of the games at their doorsteps. Due to the multiple location and mechanics required for the project, we had to ensure that effective re- source planning from the onset was critical for the success of this project. The Results Creatus executed a series of activities prior, during and post YOG. Prior to the commencement of YOG, Creatus co-ordinated the logistics and mechanics for the school visits to 22 schools, engaging 25,000 students over a one month period,for the Singapore 2010 SingTel Inspires Program,. During the YOG opening weekend, we set up 4 simultaneous roadshows island wide showcasing SingTel’s products and services and live screening of the YOG opening ceremony. A series of guerilla activities were also executed at strategic locations to call to action for the public to visit the road- shows. As part of the closing ceremony, a celeboratory luncheon was held at Meritus Mandarin hotel for the Singapore contingent and officials. The luncheon marks the partnership with YOG. “Creatus’ support was critical in the success of our overall programme. What impressed me about the team was taking ownership of problems.
