Creating  My  Double  Paged  Spread

Page 2: Creating double paged spread

I  began  creating  my  double  paged  spread  by  starting  with  an  A3  Photoshop  page.  I  then  added  the  Couture  Newcastle  logo  in  the  top  corner  and  placed  the  image  on  one  side,  typical  of  a  magazine  with  an  interview  with  a  specific  person.

I  then  began  to  shape  my  pages.  I  added  a  title  in  a  script  font  which  I  thought  went  well  and  added  a  classic  feeling.  I  placed  my  image  in  black  and  white  to  continue  this.  I  began  to  write  my  article  and  used  typical  conventions.  I  placed  the  interviewers  questions  in  bold  and  also  added  a  ‘teaser’  before  the  actual  interview  began  to  grab  the  readers  interests.

I  continued  to  build  on  my  article,  sticking  with  the  interview  conventions.  I  also  moved  the  ‘COUTURE  NEWCASTLE’  logo  to  the  other  side  of  the  page  where  it  would  be  seen  beQer,  and  added  page  numbers.
