The active ingredient, silver ions, have long-term properties which do not affect the performance of theproduct, other than imparting long lasting antimicrobial qualities that cannot be washed or rubbed off.

This active ingredient inhibits the growth of a broad spectrum of bacteria and fungi such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureas (MRSA), E-coli, Listeria and Salmonella. It does not operate in the same way asantibiotics so, does not induce evolution of new resistant strains.

Protected products are manufactured in a ‘clinical white’ finish to differentiate from the standard range andare extensively tested and validated by BioCote® to prove the products effectiveness.
