Simplicity

-Make your focus of the image very clear to the viewer.

Ex: Simplicity is like taking your school picture with the one color background. So that nothing will take the attention away from the main focus.

-You have have your main focus in the center and other background images frame around it.

Borders

Ex: Borders is not where you take the picture and put a frame around it.

Rule of Thirds

-Rule of Thirds is a guide that helps off-center place your subject.

Ex:Is having the subject of your photograph walk on to the image rather than off.

Lines

-The different types of lines can play a key role in your photography.

Ex:Stacking a bunch of chairs taking a picture of them from the top of the stack.

Balance

-Is having both sides of a photo be equal or even.

Ex:Balance of a photograph is like having a scale that has the same amount of toys on both sides. (They are equal)

Avoiding Mergers

-Mergers are background elements that somehow merge their way into the foreground, causing your image to be undesirable.

Ex:Taking a picture in front of a tree and making it look like it's coming out of your head.
