My last job was coating inspector for Joe Knows Energy, before that I strawed for Coating, Clearing, Grade, Clean up and dig up crews, I have been a laborer on dynamite, coating, dig up, clean up, hydro testing and other utility crews. Over the last 10 years working several mainline jobs and integrity digs, I have worked all positions on coating crews with powder and spray coatings, spent hundreds of hours with jeeping crews detecting and repairing holidays Prior to that I worked as a commercial/industrial painter and general construction laborer since I got out of the U.S. Marines in 1986. In 2007 I began my career as a pipeliner with US Pipeline as a sandblaster on the coating crew. Being a laborer I took work whenever and wherever it was available to stay working. I’ve worked in deserts, swamps, mountains and plains in temps from -30 to 110 degrees F. I have excellent communication skills, I’m an outgoing, enthusiastic team player with good computer skills (Microsoft, and WordPerfect) . I possess an “all day” work ethic, excellent health and I’m no stranger to laying in the mud to see what the bottom of the pipe looks like. I do not have family that will protest my traveling or being away for months on a job. I can multitask, keep accurate records, and file reports on time, and I will not compromise the integrity of a project for any reason. I’ve set goals for myself all my life and I’ve always went the extra 9 yards to achieve them. In short I have excelled at anything I have committed to. Now I would like to be the best inspector I can be. My experience as a laborer, a businessman and pipeliner and inspector gives me an objective view of the tasks at hand that others may lack. My experience and intellect and sense of humor will make me an inspector you will not regret hiring. Thank you for your time and consideration. If you have any questions please contact me. Sincerely Terry L. Miles TERRY L. MILES
