David Casper is president and chief executive officer of BMO Harris Bank N.A. and Group Head of Commercial Banking. Mr. Casper is responsible for the overall performance of BMO Harris Bank N.A. and its subsidiaries, and for representing the bank within the business and civic community. He also leads the growth strategy for the Commercial Banking business and is

accountable for the bank’s North American Treasury and Payments Solutions group. In his most recent role, Mr. Casper led the commercial banking business for BMO Harris Bank as executive vice-president and head of Commercial Banking. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Chicago Public Library Foundation, the Chicago Botanic Garden, the Ounce of Prevention Fund, the United Way of Greater Chicago, and Northwestern Medical Group. For Second City Works, he leads training on diversity and inclusion, innovation, communication skills, collaboration, and presentation skills, and also serves as a keynote speaker. Jason started at the Second City as an instructor in the Training Center while also working as an actor at the

Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Lookingglass Theater, and Congo Square Theater, among others. His corporate experience includes being a Learning and Organizational Development Specialist for Blue Cross and Blue Shield (HCSC) and a consultant for a firm that specialized in transforming SAAS (Software as a Service) companies. His professional certifications include Insights Discovery, Blanchard’s Situational Leadership II, and the Partners in Leadership Cultural Transition Process. Gloria Castillo is president and CEO of Chicago United, a corporate membership organization that advances multiracial leadership in business to achieve parity in economic opportunity for people of color. Castillo is a pioneering advocate for workplace diversity with a passion for advancing inclusion and social and economic justice through the lens of business strategy.

Her work on behalf of underrepresented populations was recognized in 2017 with an honorary Doctorate in Social Justice from Roosevelt University. Castillo has also been presented with the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund’s Corporate Social Responsibility Award, the Business and Professional People for the Public Interest’s Champion of the Public Interest Award, and the YWCA of Metropolitan Chicago’s Racial Justice Award. She serves on the Board of Directors of The Field Foundation of Illinois and Intersect Illinois, the National Advisory Board for the Insight Center for Community Economic Development, and is Co-Chair of the Illinois Bicentennial Commission. Gloria also speaks and writes frequently on issues of race and corporate diversity. She has recently spoken at Kellogg School of Management and served on panels for The Chicago Network and Roosevelt University.

Corliss V. Garner is vice president of diverse markets with the Community Affairs Group at BMO Harris Bank. In this role, she leads the bank’s outreach and engagement strategy with organizations that support diverse communities across the bank’s national footprint. Corliss’ career in banking has spanned more than two decades. She has held positions in several areas

including operations, wealth management, and commercial lending. She is a graduate of DePaul University, a fellow of the Chicago Urban League IMPACT Leadership Development Program, and has earned the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFATM) and the Certified Financial Planner (CFPTM) designations. She currently serves as Chair of the advisory board of The Chicago Community Trust African American Legacy and has held board positions with the DePaul Coleman Entrepreneurship Center and the Executive Service Corps of Chicago.

DIONNA GRIFFIN-IRONSDirector of Diversity and Inclusion, The Second City U.S. & Canada

Dionna Griffin-Irons is a writer, facilitator and the current Director of Diversity and Inclusion for The Second City U.S. and Canada. In 2002, Griffin-Irons expanded Second City’s Outreach program to a yearly program spearheading an aggressive and inclusive approach in attracting diverse talent and communities to Second City. Griffin-Irons’ diversity and inclusion work has

appeared in Diversity Journal, on NPR, ABC, NBC, and numerous academic posts including a 2015 TEDx Talk at The University of Chicago. A Second City Detroit alumnus with 18+ years of experience as a performer, producer and facilitator, Dionna has taught 200+ workshops at colleges, women’s shelters, corporate boardrooms and worked with the United States Embassy in Norway and Latvia introducing improv as a tool for social change. Her 2014 published work can be found in Rowan/Littlefield’s anthology Women, Writing and Prison. She is currently writing a memoir on the intersection of comedy, diversity and women in prison.

She is co-founder and principal of Peralta Garcia Solutions, a premier financial and management consulting firm providing solutions to the public sector in meeting fiscal and managerial challenges. Leticia stands out as leader in management and financial consultants in the

government sector space. Her 35 years of leadership experience includes nearly 15 years with LaSalle National Bank, where she was involved in senior management roles overseeing public and private sector capital markets transactions. In 1993, she formed her own financial advisory firm where her efforts steered the firm to national prominence, as reported by the Bond Buyer, as a Top 10 financial advisor for major municipal capital market transactions. She has also been recognized for her civic activism by organizations including the Anti-Defamation League, Latinas in Leadership, and the Coalition for United Community Action.

Oscar is a regional president and head of Illinois Business Banking for BMO Harris Bank. Jack Hartman is the President and COO of MBE-certified SDI Presence, where he manages the day-to-day operations of the 150-person mission-critical systems integrator. Prior to SDI, Hartman held executive leadership positions at international design, consulting, engineering and management services company Arcadis, and program and project management consulting

firm The Rise Group, where he led project teams at the City of Chicago’s Department of Water Management, the Chicago Housing Authority, the College of DuPage and the Public Building Commission of Chicago, at which he led the deployment of over 9,000 video surveillance cameras across the City. Hartman previously served as Executive Director of the Illinois Tollway, leading its $5.3 billion Open Roads for a Faster Future; Executive Vice President of Construction, Engineering, and Facilities for the Chicago Transit Authority, where he oversaw its $2.5 billion Capital Development Program; and Deputy Commissioner of Chicago’s Department of Aviation, where he negotiated the outsourced maintenance and management of the $618 million International Terminal and $125 million Airport Transit System.

Originally from Cincinnati, OH, Kashif is a first-generation American Muslim and the co-founder and executive director of Pillars Fund. Founded in 2010 by a group of American Muslim philanthropists in partnership with the Chicago Community Trust, Pillars invests in opportunities to elevate and amplify the leadership, narratives and talents of American

Muslims in civil society, the media and public discourse. Under Kashif’s leadership, the organization has become the leading voice for American Muslims and has fostered partnerships with some of the country’s most respected civic institutions. Kashif began his career with United Way of Metropolitan Chicago and continued as a Program Officer at the Robert T. McCormick Foundation. In this role he managed charitable partnerships with the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago Bulls and other corporate entities, overseeing $5M in annual grantmaking. Kashif serves on the Board of Trustees of the Chicago Theological Seminary and is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Ohio State University and a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University.

Eduardo Tobon is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Consumer, Marketing Officer and Financial Services practices and serves a broad array of global clients. Drawing upon 20 years of senior leadership experience in the consumer and financial services industries, Eduardo focuses on executive searches in the consumer packaged goods & durables and hospitality & leisure

sectors. He also works with clients in private wealth management and private equity. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, he served as president of Diners Club International. During his tenure, he led a repositioning of the company to a more innovative and agile franchise business. He partnered with leading organizations in China, India and Japan, and launched new franchises on every continent, resulting in customer, transaction and volume growth in every region of operation. He also served as board chairman for Dinit, a card processor in Slovenia, and the Diners Club Italia franchisee, where he oversaw the sale of both companies. Eduardo holds a Bachelor of Engineering from EAFIT University in Colombia, an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, and has completed postgraduate studies at Harvard Business School. His insights have been featured in numerous publications, including the book Can’t Buy Me Like: How Authentic Customer Connections Drive Superior Results.

MUSICALITY Directed by Michael E. Gibson, Founder and Music Educator

Musicality is a vocal ensemble based out of Curie High school in Chicago, Illinois. Music teacher Michael Gibson saw so much musical potential and passion in his students that, in 2008, he decided to start an after-school group dedicated to singing. That group grew into Musicality, which has become a safe-haven where students can express themselves through music, and

in many cases, a second family. In the past eight years and counting, the group continues to spread their love of music through live concert performances, music videos, and studio recordings. Musicality currently has 16 members ranging from ages 15 through 19. They were most recently semifinalists on NBC’s hit series “America’s Got Talent” where they performed at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood. They are also recipients of a grant from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and are winners of the 2017 Young Entertainers Awards Scholarship.

SONA WANGCo-founder and Managing Director, Ceres Venture Fund | 2007 Business Leader of Color

Sona Wang is a nationally recognized venture capitalist, civic leader, and cultural activist. For over 20 she has led the creation of specialized investment funds focused on women and minority-led start-up ventures. She is now co-founder and managing director of Ceres Venture Fund. She is also the current chairman of Northwestern University’s Innovation and Inventions

Office (INVO) Advisory Board, an executive committee member of Columbia College Chicago’s Board of Trustees, and chairperson of its Education Committee. She is a charter board member of ChicagoNext appointed by Mayor Emanuel. Dedicated to creating positive social impact through music and performing arts, she co-founded Chicago Blues Experience, a new music museum and performance center developing in the Loop, and previously served as trustee of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Chicago Children’s Choir. Sona was named among “100 Most Influential Women” by Crain’s and has been profiled in the Wall Street Journal, US News and World Report, USA Today, Chicago Tribune. Sona graduated from Stanford University Engineering School and received an MBA, magna cum laude from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
