M it t err a n d B v d V a lerie Giscar d d Estain g Bingerville December 16th of 2016, the African Development Bank approved a USD 263.7M loan to the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, to finance the construction of the Abidjan 4th bridge, connecting the municipalities of Youpougon and Plateau. The loan is part of a global transport infrastructure project which will reduce road congestion in the economic capital. The project includes the construction of six interchanges, 88km of urban expressways and the rehabilitation of 89 intersections.
