Costumes/Props

Cover PhotoFor my cover photo I will have the costumes , which are on the left, Maybe not all of them will be used, for example the cap or the black hoodie, put they are the costumes I will take to the photo shoot, so I have them if they are needed. This being the photo for the front cover, I researched the stereotypical outfit for hip- hop fans, which I then adapted to my costume choice. These iconic clothes allow the audience to relate themselves to the artist.

Content PhotoFor the photo on my contents page, I will be taking a long shot of one of my actors, standing on the street, more accurately I decided that he will stand in front of a wall with graffiti on it.The picture will be a contrast between high class, and sort of street life, as that represents my magazine.Again I might not be using some of the costumes, but I will still take them to the shooting, in case I do.This outfit represents the iconic glamour and wealth rappers aspire to have. For a reader to view an artist, appearing to have become famous and rich, gives the reader gratification, as he sees his 'idol’ as a successful man.

Double Page PhotosFor my double page spread I decided to have three pictures, one of them is a picture of my artist standing on the red carpet. For that picture, my actor will be wearing a black suit, a white shirt, black leather shoes and a pair of sunglasses to allow the (rapper) to show of his style. I have a black suit, and black leather shoes, and I will have to ask one of my class mates for a pair of sunglasses. In the second picture, my actor

will be wearing smart casual clothes, which include a casual shirt, chinos and a pair of wild leather shoes. I can provide for the shirt and the chinos, and I know that one of my friends will be willing got lend men his shoes. In the last picture, the actor will be standing on a stage. During his (concert) the actor will be wearing dark jeans, a baggy dark T-shirt , a pair of high sneakers, and a beanie. All of these items I can provide.

PropsThe only props I will need in my photos are a microphone, which I can borrow from the school media department. Also I will need a wooden stool for one of my pictures, which I can get from the art department at school. In the content page photo, which is supposed to represent the style and high class of the magazine, the actor will also be wearing a gold watch or bracelet, and a also a thin gold chain.
