Seventh Sunday of Easter
Dear brothers and sisters,
CHRIST IS RISEN! HE IS RISEN INDEED!
Jesus is praying for us so that we might know the love of the Father. It is a powerful image; Jesus Christ wants us in the Father so that we can all be one with God. The goal of our life should be to be one with God so that we can reach the peace, happi-ness, joy that God has prepared since the beginning of the world for us. For this reason, it is fundamental that we rebuild the Church in every generation. St. Francis of Assisi received this call and rebuilt the Church even physically. Our patron Saint Francis de Sales was called to be the bishop of Geneva, Switzerland, just after the Calvinist uprising and he was sent to rebuild the Church. What does re-build the Church means. It means that we allow to shine through us, who are the Church, the love of the Father to every person in the world. How can we allow this to happen, by converting (every day we need to recognize that we are not fully Christlike) and turning to the Lord so that we may be light for the World as the Second Vatican Council invites the Church to be. Thus, if you see that your prima-ry goal is not to be one with God, then you are invited to convert and to turn to the Lord. As we read on Thursday on the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord … seek the things that are above where Christ our head is.
Next week we will have on Sunday 7:30 AM Mass and then 10:30 AM Trilingual for the first Mass of Fr. Cesar Chen. We are all invited to participate. This week our altar servers are doing a bake sale, let us support them as we are trying to send them to Camp Hope in the summer.
Saint Francis de Sales Pray for Us!
Queridos hermanos y hermanas:

“Is anyone among you sick? He should summon the presbyters of the
church, and they should pray over him and anoint him with oil in the
name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will save the sick person, and
the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed any sins, he will be for-
given. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one an-
other, that you may be healed. The fervent prayer of a righteous person
is very powerful.” James 5:14-16

Bishop's Weekly Bible Reflection on Stewardship June 2,2019
“I am the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning
and the end.”
This is a reminder of how we should live our lives 24 hours a day ,
7days a week-putting God first in all that we do. Not only when I am
at Mass and parish activities, but when I am in the world, at work or
at school. Living gratefully and generously is a lifestyle; it should
influence how I make all my daily decisions
