DESCRIPTIONIt is easy for your message to get lost on social media. Currently 135 million people sign up to Twitter everyday.

If we are going to be noticed, and survive, we need to have a clear identity. Positioning myself as a Foodie within a pre-existing identity framework means I am able to establish an identity that is quickly recognisable and relatable to an audience. Firstly, food is something that I love and it’s pervasive nature means that it invades every aspect of social life. It allows me to express myself, talk about friends and family, health issues, environmental issues, to experiment, and be creative in a way that I can share with people.

Georgina Cook is a Cook. She enjoys entertaining, she is adventurous, fun and loving. No challenge is too

difficult and she is creative both in her communication language and ideas. Professionally and personally these are her strengths and they are conveyed through descriptive, metaphorical, and sometimes disjointed language. Her projects show her proactive inclination and this is reinforced through photographs of food and her thoughts on things she finds interesting. She uses video to convey her friendly and personable nature and the colour pink is light hearted, feminine and warm. Much like her personality.

Cook’s Comments on CulturePOSITIONING STATEMENT “Life is too short not to eat well”.

VALUE PROPOSITION Life is too short not to eat well. Cook’s Comments on Culture is my attempt to address this. I hope to inspire people to live life well. I will be starting with good food and commenting on what interests me, excites me, and scares me, framing all of this within a context of food. BRAND STORY Cook’s Comments on Culture began because it’s creator Georgina Cook, wanted to express herself and experiment with new foods. It is a collaborative website and the ingredients she shares on a weekly basis are taken up by others in the community and ideas, recipes and stories are shared. Her first project “An ABC of Tasty Treats” is based on the prediction of the upcoming food shortage. By featuring an unusual principal ingredient she hopes to inspire people to cook with different ingredients using what is locally grown and developing an awareness of sustainable farming practices.
