Converting Data to ProConnect Tax OnlineNew customers switching to ProConnect Tax Online can convert their client return

data from more than a dozen tax software providers.

Click the Gear Icon in the upper right-hand corner next to your firm’s name. From the Tools

column, select Convert Data.

Get Started

Once the installation is complete, you will be prompted to log in. Enter the same username and

password you use to login to ProConnect Tax Online. Enter the installation key that you noted earlier.

Then, select the files you’d like to convert to ProConnect Tax Online.

We’ll confirm that your data was successfully submitted and send you an email when the

conversion is complete.

Click Copy to clipboard to copy the installation key number, then click Download. Next, click on

the installation file you downloaded to begin installing the conversion wizard tool. Follow the installation prompts, then click install and finish.

Choose the software provider you are converting from, then click Next. Follow the on-

screen instructions for backing up your client data files.
