Women Empowerment• In previous times, the status of women in

India was inferior than men in the practical life. Women were not given any rights. They were not given freedom of education. And were married at an earlier age.

The First school in India for Women

• Savitribai Jyotirao Phule Along with her husband, Mahatma Jyotirao Phule started the first women's school at Pune in 1848. Savitri realized that in addition to working on education it was necessary to work on other social fronts, to build up the self-esteem and confidence of women.

Because of Women rights,Women has not only got the right to

education but also the right to express themselves. Show their talents, fulfill their

dreams.And to prove that Men and Women are equal
