The college has been inspected and accredited by the Independent Schools Inspectorate1 (ISI).
Teachers are formally qualified to teach English and have been approved by our Awarding
Organisations. The college provides a friendly international environment, with “bright and modern

Our provider meets the standards for registration with the British Council as provider of homestay
accommodation for adults for accredited providers.
Homestay accommodation is where you can stay as a guest in someone’s home and have a truly
cultural, welcoming and comfortable experience. All of our hosts are situated between travel zones 2-5 and are either within walking distance to the bus stops, underground tube network or the over-
ground network which takes you into the centre of London for easy reach to the college or sightseeing.
Hosts come from various ethnic origins and are carefully chosen on their friendliness, hospitality and willingness to welcome international students into their family home. Many families have been
accommodating students/guests for many years.

If you are a long term student and want to live in a single or twin room, then our provider’s conveniently located residences are the ideal choice. Residences give you many chances to practice your English skills with fellow students long after lessons have finished. If you want to stay close to the centre of London and be within walking distance to shopping areas, nightlife, the theatre district, Trafalgar Square, Soho, China Town and other main attractions, then one of the halls of residence could be perfect for you! Greenview Court Residence (self-Catering in Zone 2) – Greenview Court was built in the 1920’s and is a Georgian building situated in a very attractive residential area, with a large private landscaped garden, veranda and balcony. The residence comprises a total of 84 bedrooms over 5 floors, including single, double and twin rooms with shared bathrooms and a number of en-suite bedrooms and studios. There are kitchens and bath or shower rooms on every floor. Kitchens are fully equipped with appliances, utensils, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. Social Programme
At Elegant International College we are pleased to offer our students an excellent opportunity not only to learn the English language but, also to enjoy our social programmes that will enable them to
meet with learners from all over the world and make lifelong friendships.
Our social programmes are designed to offer the students a wide variety of activities as part of
their learning experience. These include regular sighting tours to famous sites and interesting
places, London museums and art galleries
Cost
Our social programmes are free but you will have to pay any transport and entry admission costs during the trip.
We allow for 1 member of staff per 10 students participating in the programme.
We can only run the programme when we have a minimum of 4 students.
Taking part
To find out about the event, have a look at the information on the notice board in the student common room.
If you want to take part you must sign up at the reception or the social programme sign up sheet on
the notice board.
Journey
You will be given directions and a map for each excursion you take part in. You will take a train/tube
or local bus depending on where you are going.
Group & Closed Group Courses
Group courses can be booked direct with the college. A group is considered 10 or more students
plus group leaders. Groups booked direct with the college are given a group discount and are
entitled to include 1 free group leader (English lessons only) to every 10 students.
Students must be 18 or over & larger class sizes could be applicable. Homestay can be booked for
your group with students being placed within good distance of each other. Social programmes are
tailor-made for groups so prices will vary as to the programme you request.
