CorrectionElisabeth Grace’s “Charts in the News” column in the June/July 2019 issue of The Mountain Astrologer featured a noon chart for U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar, with a birth date of October 4, 1981. The author obtained this information from three sources, including Wikipedia. However, it was brought to our attention that the year was in question, so Elisabeth checked with Omar’s office in Washington, D.C., and was told that Omar was born on October 4, 1982 in Mogadishu, Somalia — no source or birth time was given. Omar’s Wikipedia page has since been updated to reflect the birth year as 1982. TMA regrets the error — and wishes, as always, for more reliable birth data!
