Transcript of Consortium “Guns Will Definitely Kill You”. Pre-game Background, Briefly (Read the rest of it in...
Things You Should Know
The Consortium is in the process of forming Sword. It is controlled by a woman known as The Commander (Warlock).
Continuum is one of the fronts for the Illuminati.
HaroldVex, LLC is a shell company through which Saab performed research on human test subjects. Harold Vex is not a person.
Captain Steve Hughes is not the same person as Hayes. Hayes was the US Attaché, killed by Cali pre-game.
Captain Hughes (a war buddy of The Commander) was the person at the center of a vast international network of spy contacts, killed by Yurapan, Knudsen, Samatar, and Kwan pre-game.
Things You Should Know
There was a three-day game (“Kill for the keycard”) during the first weekend. Phillips was not defusing a nuke. He was modifying the satellite for his own purposes.
There was nothing that could have gone wrong at the launch of the Amazon.com Space Elevator.
All of the ambassadors were spies (except for Chipunza, a plant).
Ambassadors did have ties to their respective governments… except for Knudsen, who was just using “Danish Ambassador” as a cover.

AwardsCold-hearted Killer award: to Hussein (Sophie Monahan), for killing two people playing nearly their first guild game ever on night one.
The “Shut up, kids, and let me learn ya something” award: to Phillips (Tom Gordanier) for convincing people that he needed the keycards to defuse a nuke in the space elevator.
Early Bird award: to Kristoff (Haley Brandt-Erichsen) for qualifying for The Consortium 3 hours into game.
The Nigerian Prince award: to Magertin (Charles Hope), for convincing all the other spies that his fake mailbox was the one running the researcher auction (and then winning the real auction trivially), and then informing all the entrants to the fake auction that they had won, asking where to send the researchers, and thus deducing their national alignments.
Social Engineering award: also to Charles Hope, for winning a spot in The Consortium despite not starting out on that plot, and for getting an invitation to join Yassin in the Network, despite not starting out on that plot either.
Awards
Dedication award: to Brogan King for coming in at 6:00AM multiple days in order to enter security windows.
Dedication in Costuming award: to Bezos (Yuki Wikman) for wearing a bald cap every day of game.
Inclusiveness Award: to El Amin (Kim Beder), for polling everyone about their opinions on the COC discussion topics.
Most Courteous Player award: to Kwame (Mike Person), for not shooting Jabir (Paul Baranay) in front of NPs, even though he was two feet away with a gun drawn.
Awards
Dungood to Maor (JB Parkes), for: killing the Consortium agent sent to kill him, then claiming his access card and a place on The Consortium; making and selling a superweapon in his own auction; and using his anonymous WHIT3HAT mailbox to get the head of the CIA team to send him many microfilm transcripts.
The “Damn Fine Agent” award: to Knudsen (Tom Boning), for repeatedly executing clean hits on the targets set by Kwame (Mike Person) within a few hours of the kill order; for acquiring the Sony railgun for Kwame despite not being told that he wanted it; and for successfully maintaining his cover as the jovial “Danish Ambassador.”
