Please configure your computer for optimal Rocket performance by following these

handy tips. Not taking these steps will result in frustration and unsent/ undelivered files.

FYI

If you download a file from Rocket but cannot find it on your computer, please make sure you have implemented the configuration/ setting updates listed in this document,

then save the file onto your desktop (making note of where you put it); try to save it on your desktop. The file should be there.

Please ensure that you are running Java 32 bit only as described on page 3. Rocket will not run on Java 64 bit.

1.0 Windows Computers

1.1 Cannot view files after download

If you download a file but cannot see it in the location it was downloaded to

Go to the computer Control Panel > User accounts Select Change User Account Control Settings Lower the slider to never notify and then hit ok. When the prompt comes up that

ask “Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer?” Select “Yes”

1.2 Java Settings

Rocket runs properly with the current default Java settings. You should not have to change

your Java but if for any reason you run into a Java error use the following information to

configure your Java.

Use the following steps to configure your Java settings if you run into a Java error. Rocket

recommends that you run the latest 32-bit version of Java on your computer.

Step 1: Make sure the next generation Java Plug-in is unchecked

To change this setting do the following:

go to Start > Control Panel > Java > Advanced > Uncheck “Enable the next-generation Java Plug-in”

Step 2: Add Rocket Site for Java 7 version 55

Rocket recommends that you run the latest 32-bit version of Java on your computer. The current version is Java 7 update 55.

With the new update the Java security settings were changed. The changing of these settings will affect how the Java applet used on Rocket is run which now negatively impacts how Rocket works. For the applet to run properly you will need to add Rocket to the Exception Site List.

To change this setting do the following: go to Start > Control Panel > Java > Security Click Edit Site List and add https://my.trubiquity.net

Step 3: Clear your Java Cache

To clear the cache do the following: go to Start > Control Panel > Java > Temporary Internet Files > Settings > Delete

1.3 Internet Explorer:

There are a few settings in Internet explorer that you will need to update for the system run properly.

Step 1: Please ensure that you have https://my.trubiquity.net as a trusted site on

your internet browser

To add Rocket as a Trusted Site do the following: In internet explorer: go to Tools > Internet options > Security > click Trusted Sites

1.3 Firefox

If you are using Firefox, use the following information to assist you.

Step 1: Make sure Java is activated

Go to Tools > Add-ons > Plug-ins

Make sure that both the Deployment kit and Java platform are activated

Step 2: Clear the browser history

If the site is not responding on for any reason will not allow you to login try the following: Go to History > Clear Recent History

2.0 Mac Computers

If you are using a Mac computer use the following information to assist you with using Rocket.

2.1 Java Settings

Step 1: Add Rocket Site for Java 7 version 55

Rocket recommends that you run the latest version of Java on your computer. The current version is Java 7 update 55.
