2000 Trek Technology and IBM began selling the first USB flash drives commercially in 2000. USB flash

drives were invented by Amir Ban, Dov Moran and Oron Ogdan.

2005Laptops and desktops had the chance to have a “floppy disk”

along with the usb port. Later on they were no use thanks to the USB flash drives because they made it easier. They also had

lower capacity.

2008 Later on In 2008, a more improved flash drive was made and that was the 3.0. The 3,0 was a more known

and improved version of the 2.0 USB flashdrive. It allowed

extremely high data tranfer speeds.

2012 In 2012 PC Mag released

the new Iron Key Personal S250 hardrive, making it easier to keep

your files or other important documents

secure.
