OUR BACKGROUND

MEET OUR TEAM

With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Company Director Robert has an extensive resume of projects. Whether the project has been for RBF Constructions as the builder or working under other developers such as Toplace, Robert has a built a great reputation within the construction industry. A great leader with great management and social skills to work alongside all stakeholders in the project. Robert carries a trade background in a Carpentry Diploma and years of formwork. Robert has held a NSW builder’s licence for over 26 years.

Robert has the experience of carrying projects up to $100 million and over.

Joe brings over 20 years of specialised construction and fit-out experience. Joining as Project Manager, Joe bolsters RBF Projects interior fit-outs and construction capabilities with his valuable insight in cost effective solutions, quick turnaround and high-quality projects. His past diverse and varied projects cover many sectors including; retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, corporate & ministerial offices and Government projects. Joe holds a Bachelor of Building and Quantity Surveying.

Joe has successfully delivered a range of complex refurbishment and interior fit-out projects ranging from $200,000 to $20 million.

After 10 years using his time in construction to learn under different developers and management companies David now brings his knowledge of the industry to his father’s

company. Working with companies such as; Meriton Apartments and completing a degree in Construction Management and Property at UNSW gives David the opportunity to bring more

extensive knowledge of project management and techniques to RBF Constructions.

With a combination of experience on site and in office work, David has been able to see varioussides to construction and understands the many different areas of construction, from the

beginning stages (pricing, contracting and budgeting), to the later stages (hand over).

MEET OUR TEAM

Tony also has many years of construction experience which he brings to our team. He has worked thoroughly and gained knowledge from his time in the construction industry to

become a wise worker and leader of our past projects.

Tony has been used on our projects as a site manager and is heavily involved in the projects in the next annexure. He is very committed and useful with pushing the pace of the job without

cutting any corners. His general knowledge of all areas of construction makes him a great problem solver in day to day issues and his social skills with trades allows a cleaner and more

structured process in coordinating construction.

Engaging with our clients and candidates with honesty and

transparency is essential to our enterprise. It is through the

facilitation of robust dialogue where we aim to ensure the

clarity of our objectives and outcomes, while appropriately

managing expectations between internal and external

stakeholders. RBF Constructions aims to be your trusted

RBF Constructions has developed and implemented an integrated management system (Quality, WHS and Environmental), which uses ISO 9001:2015, AS/ NZS 4801:2001 and ISO 14001:2015 as a framework that allows our organization to document and improve our practices in order to better satisfy the needs and expectations of our customers, stakeholders and interested parties.

Our Quality, WHS and Environmental management system meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, AS/NZS 4801:2001 and ISO 14001:2015 and usesthe Plan, Do, Check and Act approach to process planning.

Our IMS addresses and supports our strategies for the supply of temporary, contract and permanent personnel. The IMS is used to familiarize customers and other external Organizations or individuals with thecontrols that have been implemented and to assure them that the integrity of our Quality, WHS and Environmental management system is maintained and is focused on customer satisfaction and continual improvement.

RBF Constructions recognise the importance of WH&S within the business and have engaged a full time Workplace Health and Safety Manager to oversee the businesses safety operations day to day and the relevant policies and procedures.

RBF Constructions has attained certification through Global Mark to the requirements of: Australian Standard AS/NZS 4801:2001.

RBF Constructions:

• Ensures all operations of the businesscomply with WH&S legislation which isrepresented from Senior Managementright throughout the business

• Implements WH&S procedures acrossthe business

• Provides employees with the necessary skills/training to promote a safety conscious work environment

• Provides sufficient supervision at all our workplaces

• Allows for investigation and reporting procedures for all incidents in order to amend and improve the work environment for all employees

• Promotes a ‘Safety First’ culture throughout all aspects of business operations.

• Develops site specific WH&S management plans which have been created in consultation with the companies Employees & Safety Committee Members.

The Site-Specific Quality Management System is set up with the aim of eliminating or reducing defective work and monitored by clearly defined roles and responsibilities for managing quality.

The management system is in accordance with the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 14001 environmental management systems standards.

The objective of the environmental management system is to promote a culture standard of zero harm to the environment.

RBF Constructionscommitment:• Receives the highest priority from the senior managers of

the organization and this priority is communicated to all personnel connected with the company;

• Proactively address issues that may affect environmental performance at project work sites for which RBF Constructions is responsible;

• Actively contribute towards avoiding or minimising environmental impacts in day to day activities. Employees must monitor the continued effective installation and operation of environmental controls within the scope of their day-to-day work;

• All incidents however minor are reported to management so that appropriate action can be undertaken to prevent a repetition or to minimize the risk;

• Reduce and recycle waste materials where possible and dispose of other waste material in a responsible manner;

• Attend appropriate training courses for the type of work that they undertake so that they may complete their tasks in a competent and safe manner; and;

• Undertake to consult its employees, contractors and the client on safety and environmental matters especially where any workplace change of practice may impact the environment or their obligations.
