A: INTRODUCTION

GM CONCRETE WORKS LIMITED (GMCL) is a local company registered in

Tanzania by Contractors Registration Board (CRB) in Mechanical Works Contractor Class

Four and in Building Works, Civil Works, and Electrical Works Contractor Class Five.

The company has since formation been engaged in various projects including

building, electrical works, civil works including water supply as well as roads and

communication networks in Tanzania.

The GMCL management is of high quality and trust and well-focused to ensure

that quality of work is never compromised in anyway. The company adheres to

deploy required professionals in all of its assignments to ensure that the client’s

desired quality work is met under any circumstance.

Also, the company works strictly on meeting contractual deadlines even the deadly

deadlines and this has given the company the credibility from its

customers.

It is GMCL’s desire to expand its expertise to internal level either through joint

ventures or by its own way to explore the internal experience so that it gets in

international competition scale. Taking that into account, GMCL trusts that

proper trade in business is crucial and that there is no excuse for

overpricing/underpricing and unimaginative planning. We do offer quality

assurance and standard work as designed and we always strive to meet client’s

satisfaction. Given a sheer size of our country especially rural settings, we do

believe that it is always a privilege to execute assignments, which benefit the

rural population, and as such we are prepared to carry out any assignment,

located whether rural or urban.

GM CONCRETE WORKS LTD currently operates its business activities in Dar es

Salaam, Mbeya, Mwanza and Arusha Cities where it has established its

branches. Major activities that are performed include but not limited to:

Industrial Buildings,

• Construction and Maintenance of Roads,

• Construction and Maintenance of Water Supply works; this include Pipe

Network, Water Tanks etc,

• Construction and Maintenance of Sewerage and Drainage Systems,

• Real Estate Development, Management and Agency,

• Supplier of Building Materials and Hiring of Construction Equipment,

• Supplier of Safety Gears,

• Mechanical and electrical installations and maintenance

With sufficient experience of its staff in the specialized fields, GMCL is

determined to mobilize at short notice and execute assignments at very

competitive rates with assured quality finish. This is our motivation in the
