PRIVATIZATIONThe year 2007 is according to serbian Law on Privatization the final year of this process initiated in year 2002. The goal was to privatize more than 7.000 state and socially owned companies. with beginning of this year, some 1.000 companies remained. These are expected to be privatized or restructured and sold during this year. some of the remaining biggest “bites” are NIs (serbian Oil Industries), EPs (Electric Power Industry of serbia), etc.
