The electrical control panel on the Dominator mechanics truck offers critical information at a glance.
Mechanics Trucks
Dominate the field
Designed with enhanced strength and stability for higher crane loads, as well as numerous configuration possibilities, our Dominator® mechanics trucks deliver raw power, flexibility, and work-saving features that competitors can’t come close to.
IMT Dominator trucks feature easy-access compartments with a patented shelf hanger system, so the operator can reposition the shelves for more storage space. They also feature work lights and compartment lights, as well as an operator’s workbench complete with vises and vise plates.
A patent-pending energy-absorbing boom support dissipates energy created from the crane boom, relieving pressure that would be transmitted to the sidepack top, and high-intensity lighting provides superior light penetration for enhanced visibility in the compartments.
Add a multiplex electrical system with programmable logic, which increases electrical control capabilities while reducing the amount of wire used, and you have a Dominator truck that’s conquered the market in both strength and smarts.

Lube Trucks
Total flexibility
With a multitude of possible configurations, IMT SiteStar® lube trucks not only carry fuel, oil, grease, antifreeze, and other fluids — they give you the versatility and flexibility you need, when and where you need it.
Our SiteStar lube trucks are designed to shield the tanks from harsh environmental elements, such as sleet and snow, wind and dust, and extreme temperatures, and are available with either impact-resistant and UV-protected polyethylene tanks or steel tanks. Their unique construction also prevents the introduction of particulate contamination into the fluid storage tanks.
Hydraulic dispensing systems with an optional remote control for oil products and air-operated dispensing systems for grease and salvage increase productivity, as do 108 cubic feet (3.06 m3) of above-deck storage compartments. For quick and easy fleet maintenance, the SiteStar lube truck shines!

Up-to-the-minute fleet statistics
Would it be helpful to know if your fleet is being
utilized as planned? How much it costs to operate
it? That it is being properly maintained? The real-
time status of each truck’s location and who its
technician is? That’s exactly what our ValuePlus
Fleet Management program provides. It lets you
track usage statistics right up to the minute, so you
can get the most value from your equipment dollar.

We began in 1961, providing innovative tread designs for retreaded
tires. Since then, we have evolved into a leading manufacturer of
truck-mounted cranes, mechanics trucks, lube trucks, tire trucks, and
air compressors for building supply, construction, tire service, public
works, equipment dealers, mining, railroad, rental, and propane
markets around the world.
Over the past 50 years, IMT has remained unwavering in its commitment to produce the highest-quality products
in the industry. IMT’s mission is simple: to be a successful, people-oriented company serving global equipment
markets. As an organization, we strive to become your supplier of choice by offering products and services that
set the standard of excellence in quality, value, and performance.
In addition to the products in this brochure, we offer the following:
IMT articulating cranes feature impressive lift-to-weight
ratios and are recognized for proven reliability. You’ll get a wide range of
lifting capacities, hydraulic reaches and application-specific designs.
The IMT TireHand® is the industry
standard for installing and rotating massive
tires in the mining and construction
industries. Choose from loader, forklift, or
hydraulic crane-mounted options to ensure a
perfect fit to the job.
Our Commander® series of tire trucks includes
our powerful TireHand tire manipulator, plenty of storage, and a fully
engineered compressed air system, all to get your customers up

IMT pays close attention to detail when it comes to product design,
manufacturing, testing, and support. We listen to our customers, using your
feedback to meet your expectations and exceed industry standards. We
incorporate work-saving features into all our products to make your job
easier and your projects more profitable.
Comprehensive capabilities
Our design and testing processes include finite element analysis, strain gauge testing, and life expectancy
testing. Our world-class production techniques include one-piece flow production, KanBan supermarket
inventory management, and lean manufacturing. We have cutting-edge equipment to support our fabrication
processes, robotic welding, machining operations, multi-stage paint systems, and six final-stage assembly
lines. And we have a comprehensive testing and quality control
process, all of which work together to give our equipment its
superior qualities. Nothing is left to chance, so you can have the
utmost confidence in our products.
Manufacturing process
We begin with laser technology to ensure superior edge quality
and dimension control in our
steel-cutting process. We then use robotic welding for precise weld control
and increased production. State-of-the-art machining centers make sure all
boom and cylinder pins fit properly and all bearing surfaces are precise. Our
multi-stage paint process cleans and paints the components, then bakes the
paint for a complete finish. The product is then assembled on our one-piece
flow final stage assembly lines before undergoing a final comprehensive test
process to ensure that the finished product meets our quality standards.
IMT offers the most dependable surface protection in the
industry: DuPont Imron Elite polyurethane finish, which is
known for its long-lasting gloss, durability, and chemical
resistance. Preparation is key, so after rotoblasting to remove
all mill scale and rust, we employ a five-step prep process:
chemical prewash, water rinse, phosphatizing, water rinse,
and a reverse osmosis rinse that eliminates mineral deposits.
The strength of commitment
15
From there, highly trained technicians apply the coatings, which have the most
advanced UV screeners and light stabilizers to stand up to rough weather and
industrial chemicals. Not only does DuPont Imron Elite retain gloss and clarity of
finish, it also resists chips, abrasions, chemicals, and pollutants.
Distributor network
It’s hard to tell which is stronger — our products or our distributor
network. IMT has been in business for more than 50 years, all thanks
to a distributor network that’s second to none. Throughout the world,
IMT distributors offer fast, knowledgeable service and the ability to help
customers find the right IMT product for every application.
Diamond Shield warranty
Our optional Diamond Shield warranty protects your investment — the
body, crane, and compressed air system on qualified IMT commercial
vehicles — for a full 36 months, and keeps you running like new with
genuine IMT parts for planned maintenance intervals.
Oshkosh Corporation
In 2006, IMT was purchased by Oshkosh Corporation, a leading manufacturer of
specialty trucks for commercial, fire and emergency, and military applications.
Because Oshkosh follows a strategy of acquiring only market leaders, our brand
equity, industry reputation, and leadership position made IMT a natural choice for this
well-respected company.
As a wholly owned subsidiary of Oshkosh
Corporation, IMT has gained access to
customer financing, additional buying power, and the best practices
of the company’s market-leading brands. This has enhanced our own
position in the marketplace, and has given us even more reason to say
that when you’re looking for exceptional equipment and superior service,
look to IMT.
