Coffee
By: Berlin Westwood
Process • The berry/beans are picked from
large field locations with lots of sun.• Then about 2kg of coffee beans are
poured into bags for preparation for the wet mill
• From there they are washed and skinned to remove the outer shell
• They are later let outside to dry for 3 days
• Later the dried beans are poured into burlap bags with 69 kg
• What is left is the green bean that will be shipped to the factories for roasting.

• From there the main factories, (such as Tim Hortons in Hamilton, Ontario) do the roasting and packaging process • In this process the beans are roasted and divided into different types
of caffination.
Milk and Sugar• Sugar originated from India and
South-East Asia. But now can be grown anywhere with warm, frost-free environment.
• The milk is local to the individual store (we get Dairy Farm)
• Splenda was discovered by researchers at Queen Elizabeth College, University of London, in 1976
