Social Media Etiquette
• Customer Service • Everyone is watching – so if someone has a negative experience
with your Org or Staff – responds quickly to resolve it • Often Twitter get better results than a customer service call
• Know which account you are posting to • Often you or your staff may be logged into the Org’s and their
personal twitter/facebook on their computer or phone and they don’t check which account they are in before they post.
• If you are going to make a joke – it should be ‘110% safe for work’ • If it could offend anyone in the slightest, don’t do it, there are
people just waiting for you to mess up • SPELLCHECK! • More tips from the Pros • Social media etiquette facebook edition
