AC GENERATION SYSTEM

• The AC generation system supplies AC power from two alternators.This AC power is used for;

• Engine Air Inlet Anti-Icing System• The 28 VDC auxiliary electrical power

supply

ALTERNATOR• Each alternator supplies 115VAC 3

phase variable 400 hertz

TRANSFORMER/RECTIFIER• Conversion from 115VAC to 28VDC

Engine Air Inlet Anti-Icing System• The system heaters use AC power

supply from the alternators, on the left and right engines.

INVERTER• The AC generation constant frequency

uses inverters conversion from 28VDC to give 115VAC 3 phase and 26VAC 400HZ.

REVIEW• We have two alternators (115VAC 3

phase 400HZ variable frequence)

• AC power used engine inlet anti-icing system and 28 VDC auxiliary electrical power supply

• We have three inverters (115VAC 3 phase 400HZ constant frequence)
