We will find the answers to our own questions

What are shoes made of? Where does cotton come from? Why do Scottish people wear tartan? What can clothing be made of apart from cotton and wool? How does wool get made into clothing?

We learnt about using a search engine – (Ask Jeeves)

We found some useful information on Encarta

We ‘Presented’ our findings using publisher

I think this unit worked well because it’s an age appropriate, relevant topic. There were also plenty of resources.

ICT use helped us to work faster, create better quality work, get instant feedback, see things close up, access information easily. It helped lots!
