Dachshund Mix Puppies

Amelia

Tubbs & Ash

This little cutie is a little lab mix who was brought in with 7 siblings. She was the last of her litter to find a forever home. She is up to

date on shots, wormed and vet checked.

Another sad story and way too long to get into. We can only say that these guys were thrown out

of their home into the cold. I can't imagine the fear that they felt after being inside on their favorite chair to one day face the harsh reality that they

could not be indoor kitties anymore. ASAS could not leave them outside. We are filling up very fast and need adoption of our older kitties or else we will not be able to take in and give safe haven to

more babies left out in the cold. Please come and adopt. These guys are up to date on vaccines and

spayed and neutered.

The mother was surrendered when the puppies were three days old. She is a registered red long hair dachshund. She weighs about 9 lbs. (The father was a wire haired Terrier.) She had eight puppies. These are the males. The females

and Mom have already been adopted with Mom going to the foster who took care of them. They were born July 23 and have had 3 vaccinations and

wormed three times.

“CHRISTMAS AT SEA”CAPITAL DISTRICT – The Albany Maritime Ministry at the Port of Albany is launching “Christmas-at-Sea,” gifts to be distributed to seafarers over the Christmas holidays, before their ships leave Albany for the oceans. Items that might be placed in the boxes include knit caps, work gloves, socks, writing paper, envelopes, pens, combs or brushes, books, toi-letries including shaving cream, and batteries. On November 17, the packages may be dropped off from 2pm to 7pm at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 475 State Street. The Albany Mari-time Ministry is a non-profit, 501c(3). FINE AMNESTY AT MECHANICVILLE LIBRARY

MECHANICVILLE – Fine Amnesty at the Mechanicville District Public Library will run through November 29th. The Library will accept a nonperishable food item for each Mechanicville Library fine. For example if you have 3 fines on your card, you need to bring 3 food items, please check the expiration date. *Fines from other libraries, replacement costs and collection fees cannot be waived. Food items needed: canned vegeta-bles, peanut butter, tuna, pasta, coffee and soup. The food items will be donated to Mechanicville’s Emergency Food Pantry.
