HistoryWith the vision and die-hard conviction of our founder, Mr. S. C. Chakraborty, Zodiac Express spread its wings on 26th July 1991 to cover the needs of Kolkata. The overwhelming response from Corporate Sector was not just a dream come true, but also the fruits of early realization and recognition of tremendous potential that all West Bengal offers in terms of market size.It was a prudence and foresight of Mr. S. C. Chakraborty about the market potential, and launched an Intracity courier company that would serve the needs of billions of Indians, spread across the length and breadth of the country. Transforming it into Zodiac Express Private Limited, strengthened the company's corporate standing. Ever since, the company has expanded its operations rapidly, opening 9 offices in Kolkata and Greater Kolkata in just two years. Process Full Time Client Dedicated Pick-up: A special service

provided where our Company posts a Pick-up Personnel

during Client’s office hours in his office to collect documents. Some such

Clients are Vodafone, HDFC, and ABP etc.

Scheduled Pickup: Pick-up Personnel visits Clients Office as per his

convenience at scheduled time to collect documents.

On Call: A team of Pick-up Personnel are on Stand-by for pick-ups as

and when required.

Operation Of Courier & Logistics ~ Customer Care & Verification Process

The Customer Care Department is mainly associated with services related to Customer Relation where it gives support to the various customer enquiry and complaints. Queries may come from both internal and external customers, the external customers being any Company personnel or the end-client and the internal Customer being any one within the Company.   The Customer Care Department is functional in providing instant feedback to the Customer. The Customer Care Executives sits regularly with the Contractors & Delivery Assistants to discuss the problem faced by them while delivering the documents. They give guidelines to the Delivery Assistants for correct delivery of the Documents. The Customer Care Department is the indispensable part of this Organization as it constantly thrives to build the Goodwill of the company in the market by extending their Full Support & Co-Operation for day today operation.

The Customer Care Department bridges the Gap between the End Client and the Company by giving support to the various customer enquiry and complaints over Telephone and sending the final Status of the Documents to the concerned Company.

  The Customer Support Executives are always on their toes to solve the problem immediately and give right feedback to the Customer.

Status The Customer Care Department performs a two-fold function one of which is purely associated with Customer relation and giving support to various customer enquiries and complaints.

  The Customer Support Executives keeps a track of the total number of physical pods received and the tracking count creating a very high value reference bank for any queries or information.

The status Updation is the process to update the Delivery Status of any documents. TM

Sometimes the Customer Support Executives may suspect that a POD which has already been Delivered may not be delivered to exact person i.e. the Delivery Assistants may malpractices some wrong means.

The verification personnel will search for the name and address of the end client and try to deliver the documents to the right person. This process is initiated by the Customer Care Department.

Retailing This is the first time that Zodiac had stepped into Retailing business,

with our core marketing and analyst team we had started our Franchisee business from 1st Nov. 2008 through out West Bengal.
