Unlimited Access and ChoiceGain greater independence as you create your own schedule
by selecting the open shifts in which you will work. You’ll
fi nd Cleveland Clinic Agency Resources (CCAR) has
assignments available for all shifts and in virtually every
specialty. All assignments for CCAR employees are arranged
via an on-line process and are made within Cleveland Clinic
Hospitals (CCH) only.

On-line access is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Scheduling yourself is a breeze as your availability is matched
with your credentials, experience, facility assignments, and
open available shifts. You, in turn, accept or decline matches.
Competitive Wages and Benefi tsYou’ll fi nd the salaries for CCAR employees generous and
competitive. Plus, you’ll also be able to take advantage of the

including time-and-a-half pay for holidays and the provision
of yearly uniforms. As a CCAR employee, you are paid for the
hours you spend in orientation, and you will have access to
continuing education and training resources. There are
also opportunities for increased salaries for those that are
interested in working over 28 hours per week and contracting
for long-term assignments (six weeks or longer).

How often must I work?In order to continue employment, all CCAR staff
must work within one month of attending
orientation and ensure that the time that elapses
between shifts worked does not exceed 90 days.
Isn’t this position similar to a PRN position?No, unlike most PRN programs at CCH, there is
not an hourly, weekend, or holiday commitment,
and hours are not guaranteed. CCAR nurses must
work in a minimum of three different CCH facilities,
and all shifts are booked on-line.
What does orientation consist of?All new employees will attend an eight-hour general
orientation, two to four hours of additional
facility-specifi c skills training, and eight hours of
computer training for each assigned facility.
Are there open positions in all specialties?We are currently searching for qualifi ed candidates
in the following inpatient areas: medical/surgical,
critical care, labor and delivery, OR, PACU, ED,
home health, pediatrics, and behavioral health.
