Cleaning Hints & Tips

Always use with cold water.

For best results, apply diluted Activator over the area before rinsing, wiping, dabbing or hosing off. For stubborn areas leave on for several minutes.

To prevent frothing, add the cold water to your spray bottle first before adding the Activator.

Suitable for all hard surfaces including wood, vinyl, tiles, stainless steel and stone plus great for spot cleaning carpets and upholstery.

To remove odours from pets, toilets, rubbish bins and carpets, spray the offending area liberally.

For odours or blockages in household drains, see over for instructions.

To keep your spray bottle of Activator smelling fresh, rinse and re-fill spray bottle fortnightly.

HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF ACTIVATOR

All Kitchen surfaces:benches, stove tops, sinks

(I part Activator to 4 parts cold water)

Treatment Situation Quantity Area & Method Duration

Septic & AWTS Prime

For the treatment and prevention of odours and blockages

1. First morning of treatment: Enhancer Kit Mix EcoCare pH Stabiliser powder with 1L of water Flush down a toilet Once Only

2. That evening: Enhancer Kit Add contents of EcoCare Culture bottle Flush down a toilet Once Only

3. The following morning: Activator Add total of 4 litres of ActivatorDistribute down toilets & household drains leading to

septic (add 1 cup cold water per 1 cup Activator)Once Only - Now go to , or

Septic & AWTS Maintenance

For ongoing treatment and prevention of odours and blockages

Add Activator at the following rate:1 - 5 people = ½ cup per person per week6+ people = total of 3 cups per week

Rotate weekly via toilets and drains leading to Septic/AWTS - (when added to drain add 1 cup cold water per 1 cup Activator)

Ongoing weekly

Trench Blockage

For blockages in rubble, leach drain, trench drain, soakwell

After completing add 3 cups Activator per week

Greywater & Grease Trap

For treatment and prevention of odours, blockages and grease build-up

2 cups of Activator followed by 2 cups of cold water per week

Add weekly via the sink. For best results add 1/4 cup per night followed by 1 cup of water. Prior to first application, flush grease trap and line with water

Ongoing weekly or daily

Greywater Trench

For blockages in rubble, leach drain, french drain, soakwell resulting from fat, oil or grease

1. After completing add 3 cups Activator per week

Distribute via drains leading to greywater system(Max. of 750ml, or 3 cups, in the grease trap) Weekly for approx. 3 - 4 months.

Once trench blockage cleared refer to2. Add 80ml of EcoCare Culture GF per week

Distribute via kitchen sink leading to grease trap or greywater system

Household Drains

For odours and blockages 1 cup Activator mixed with 1 cup cold waterApply to the smelly or blocked drain each evening until the odour or blockage has cleared.

Usually 3 - 5 applications is sufficient

TOTALTREATMENT

If the tank is full, we recommend

getting it pumped out before

commencing treatment.

Use Activator without interruption

at the correct application rate. This

ensures an ongoing healthy system.

Always follow Activator with cold

tap water, this is essential for the

activation process.

Activator won’t solve issues caused

by tree or grass roots. Seek

specialist help for removal, then

contact us for help with restoring

your system to peak performance.

Avoid harsh cleaners such as bleach,

toilet ducks or deodorisers as they

reduce Activator’s effectiveness.

Use our range of septic safe

cleaning products to reduce

chemicals entering your system.

Store in a cool place and avoid

direct sunlight or heat. Make sure

tap and cap are securely fitted.
