Use the RainKing Eloqua connector to clean up your dirty data • Eloqua Contact Databases can contain missing fields and outdated data. • Exporting bad data from your Eloqua database and importing this data into RainKing updates
and cleans the data from Eloqua. • Using the Eloqua connector, the matched and cleaned data in RainKing is pushed back into
Eloqua. • RainKing Prism not only matches and cleans your dirty data from Eloqua, but suggests
additional Contacts that RainKing has that you may want in your Eloqua database.

Smarter Targeting
Step 1: Create a Segment in Eloqua of your dirty data • Create a Segment in Eloqua to aggregate data missing fields. • In the example below, we’ve created a Segment that pulls all Contacts missing a Job Title or
Company Name. • The only field required for the export is Email Address.

Step 2: Export this Segment from Eloqua • Export this Segment from Eloqua by viewing the Contacts in the Segment and selecting to
Export. Export the current view as a .csv file.

Step 3: Format the file for import to RainKing • Delete all columns from the exported file except for the columns shown below and keep
them in the order shown below. Save this file in .csv file format.

Step 4: Import this list into RainKing using Prospect Prism • Log in to RainKing and navigate to the Marketing Center and Prospect Prism. Use Prospect
Prism’s import tool to import your .csv file from Eloqua.

Step 5: Select and send clean prospects back to Eloqua • Once your .csv file has imported, RainKing will provide diagnostics of the list. Select the
“Matched” contacts and send them to Eloqua. This will update your “dirty” Eloqua Contacts with clean RainKing data!

Step 6: Leverage clean RainKing data in Eloqua • The data from RainKing will refresh and clean your Eloqua data. This information can be
leveraged for new segmenting, campaigns and improved lead scoring.
