Have you ever found yourselfstaring into the night sky, looking at all the stars, and wondering - look how small I am.How can I be worth anything? How can I be anyone?

Well, you’re part of something

big.Bigger than trees or mountains, bigger than the sea or the sky, even bigger than the universe. You’re part of God’s plan.We all are.

Page 3: CLE Test 1

But, somewhere on the way, we got lost.

Our story starts with God, as all stories do. God made us in His image - He made us to be with Him. He loved us, and we loved him.We lived in harmony.

Adam and Eve, the man and woman God had made, wanted to be like Him.They were tempted. And they gave in to temptation.

They disobeyed God, and they brought sin into the world. They destroyed the harmony we lived in.

They turned away from God.

But God never turned away from them.God never turned away from us.

You see, our story could have ended there. But it didn’t.

God kept trying to bring us back.God kept hoping that we’d return.God never let go, even when we did.

And the story went on.

God started with Israel. He made them His people, and He was their leader and guide. At times, they turned away from Him. We all do, sometimes. But God doesn’t. He kept going; He ran the good race, He fought the good fight.

And God’s plan reached its height. From Israel came a Savior.Someone who wouldn’t just save the Jews...He’d save us all.

Page 7: CLE Test 1

That Savior’s name was Jesus. He, who was God, became man.He, who was a King, became a servant. He, who never had to die, died for us all.And He defeated death. On the third day He rose again.

So, have you ever found yourself wondering, why?Why am I here? Why am I living?

You’re here because God made you. You’re here because Jesus saved you.And they both want you to come home. They want you to come back to that harmony, that life before sin.

Harmony with God is the way to eternal life, and God is always willing to bring us back into this harmony.
