How to ask to use the bathroom◦Whole Group1. Wait for station time2. If emergency, put yellow card on your desk

3. Wait for a nod from me, Ms. Rose, or Ms. Rosa

4. Get the hall pass and walk with Ms. Rose or Ms. Rosa.

◦Stations or Independent work◦1. Do not interrupt someone speaking◦2. Raise your hand and wait to be called on◦3. Ask permission◦4. Wait for permission◦5. Get the hall pass and walk with Ms. Rose, Ms. Rosa, or me (Ms. Christy)

◦Whole Group Practice Part A: Directions: Everyone will get a chance to practice asking to use the restroom one time during the whole group activity (Part A OR B, not both).

Activity:

◦Station Practice: CHAMPS Directions: At each station, everyone will get a chance to practice asking to use the restroom once.

Station 1- Talk About It- School Community “Who is In Your School?”

Station 2- Draw About it- School Community “Who is In Your School?”

Whole Group Practice Part B: CHAMPS Directions: If you didn’t practice asking to use the bathroom, ask during Part B activities
