Roles and responsibilitiesy Promotes class bonding and cohesiony Ensures smooth running of class activities /

lessonsy Organise class activities to build class unity and

school spirity

Manages class discipline at all timey Support Teachers / student councilors in

ensuring class engagement in all activities



Chairpersony Main responsibility: Class Discipline

y

To maintain good behaviour and class co-operation amongclassmates during lessonsy To ensure everyone moves as a class while walking to other venues

for lessonsy To check with the General Office if the ST is not in the classroom or

is absenty To sit the class down while waiting for the subject teacher during

the change of period and while waiting outside special rooms.Silence must be maintained to avoid disturbing other classes.

y To inform CT &/or Co CT of any irregularitiesy To get class assemble back into classroom / hall after recess and

maintain discipline and order.



Vice Chairpersony Main responsibility:

y A s Vice Chairperson, he/she will assist the Chairperson inmaintaining class discipline and ensuring class cohesion.

y A ppoint as N ational Education ( N E) Ambassador for the class.

1. Be the class facilitator for NE activities/duties during thecommerative days

2. To promote NE through class participation on NE activities.3. To disseminate information on NE related matters to class



Daily Dutiesy Morning Flag raising at courtyard/Hall

y To get class assemble at courtyard/hall when the bell ringsy To get students to be seated in a single line with bags on their laps.y To ensure all are seated by 7.15amy To get class to take out book to ready To assist CT / Co CT in maintaining class discipline in courtyardy To count the number of students present and update CT or Co-CT,

taking note the absentees names.

y Class Diary y To get the Class Diary from CT/Co-CT before flag raising everyday.y To pass the medical certificate to the CT/Co-CT every morning.y To record all latecomers & absentees for each day & each lessony To pass the class diary to the subject teacher (ST) at the beginning of

each lesson and ensure the subject teacher signed on ity To inform CT &/or Co-CT of any irregularitiesy To obtain CT s &/or Co-CT s signature at the end of the day & return the

class diary to Level Discipline Coordinator (LDC)
