Create your Class 1 program:
1. Use the Mining Map Viewer to identify if your claims are withina notification area;
2. Complete a Class 1 Notification:a. Ensure activities do not exceed Class1 thresholds;b. Ensure information is complete.
NOTES
Use the Mining Map Viewer toidentify settlement land andclass 1 notification areas.
A Notification is required ifyour exploration program iscategorized as class 1 andlocated either on settlementland (category A or B) orwithin a class 1 notificationarea.
To determine if your projectwould be categorized as class1, review the Class Criteriatable in the Placer and QuartzMining regulations.
Class 1 notifications forprospecting leases willcontinue to use the lease workprogram form, which willserve as a Class 1 notification.
