    Language Objectives :

    1) Ss will know various words concerning jobs.

    2) Ss will ask others job and answer , using Whats your job? You are a

    3) Ss will ask others action using What are you doing? and answer using

    I am Ving

    4) Ss will ask others future dream and answer, using What do you want to

    be?, I want to be a ________.

    Activity 1:

    Zip Zap Zop

    Time : 10 mins Grouping : All groups in

    a circle

    Procedure :1. Students stand in a circle.

    2. One student quickly claps an points at another, while saying

    Zip. The student who are pointed at then claps and points at

    another, while saying Zap. That student then claps and

    points to someone while saying Zop.

    3. The pattern continues, Zip, Zap, Zop, Zip, Zap, Zop

    4. If student who is pointed at is wrong while saying or pointing,

    he/she will go out of the circle.

    5. The last one in the circle will be a winner.

    Activity 2 :

    Hot Potatoes Box

    Time : 10 mins Grouping : All groups in

    a circleProcedure:

    1. Stand in a circle.

    2. Put a box which has many hot potatoes(actually a paper

    which is written a job name on it and is crumpled) in the middle

    of the circle.

    3. One student pick up a hot potato and throws it away, but then

    it moves to another students hand and this throwing continues.

    4. When the teacher say, Stop, the student who has a hot

    potato in his/her hand opens the hot potato and mine,

    pointing at another student and asking Whats my job?.

    5. The student who is pointed at should answer, using Im Ving.

    6. The student who say Im Ving. pick up another potato in the

    box and repeat from 3.

    7. The pattern continues, asking whats my job. And answering

    I am a ____________.

    Activity 3 :

    Speed Mime

    Time : 10 mins Grouping : Team A(half

    of all the students) and

    Team B(the rest half)

    Procedure:

    1. Team A, Team B should stand in line.

    2. Each group has a set of cards which are written I am Ving on each

    chair.

    3. The first student in each line pick up a card on chair and mine

    the sentence. The second student will answer, I am Ving.

    * If not, the first student should put it on the wrong answer place(there)

    And the first student pick up another card and try again until the second

    student answer right. If the mimer dont understand the sentence,

    he/she could say Pass and put it on a desk.
