1. Registering for the new 2022 program. Agents will receive their code from their direct upline.

Miramar FAQ

1. Agent is calling because their AHIP wont uploada. Make sure they label their AHIP with NO special characters.

Documents you upload in a program are stored to a system that does not accept the followingcharacters:

● Tilde (~)● Number sign (#)● Percent (%)● Ampersand (&)● Apostrophe (')● Asterisk (*)● Braces ({ })● Backslash (\)● Colon (:)● Angle brackets (< >)● Question mark (?)● Slash (/)● Plus sign (+)● Pipe (|)● Quotation mark (")

If your file has one of these characters, rename it before uploading.

If your document has an extremely long name, you may also want to shorten it, as very long file pathsmay result in errors. You may not upload a document twice with the same file name.

2. A new window is not opening for training? How does an agent fix pop ups?

Google Chrome

1. In the top right-hand corner of your browser window, open the More menu (three stackedvertical dots) and select Settings.

2. On the next screen, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Advanced" to view additionalsettings.

3. Under "Privacy and security," click Site Settings.

4. From the Site Settings list, select Pop-ups and redirects.

5. At the top, toggle the setting to Allowed - it may show as "Blocked (recommended)", once youtoggle the button, it will change to reflect Allowed.

Internet Explorer 11

1. In the top right-hand corner of your browser window, open the Tools menu (gear icon) andselect Internet options (this will open a new window).

2. Click on the Privacy tab, located across the top of the window that appeared.

3. Under "Pop-up Blocker", remove the check mark from the "Turn on Pop-up Blocker" setting andclick Apply. Then click OK to close the window.

Mozilla Firefox

1. In the top right-hand corner of your browser window, open the Tools menu (three stackedhorizontal lines) and select Options.

2. Click Privacy & Security from the menu options on the left side of the screen.3. Under "Permissions", remove the check mark from the "Block pop-up windows" setting.

Microsoft Edge

1. In the top right-hand corner of your browser window, open the Settings and More menu (threehorizontal dots) and select Settings.

2. Click Privacy & Security from the menu options on the left side of the screen.

3. Scroll down, and under "Security", toggle the "Block pop-ups" setting to Off.

3. Will 2022 onboarding and appointments apply to 2021 as well?a. Yes. Clover Health has designed the 2022 training and tests to apply for both 2021 and

2022 appointments.

4. Is AHIP required as part of or in addition to the Miramar:Agent appointment process?a. Yes, AHIP is part of the Gorman appointment process. There is also an option to take an

equivalent certification that will cost the agent $45. During the appointment process,Gorman will simply ask for an AHIP certificate verifying that the agent completed thetraining. Agents simply need to upload their AHIP certificate and then they can move tothe next step in the appointment process.

5. Do agents get a notification in the Gorman/Miramar system once their appointments/cert iscompleted and they are RTS?

a. Yes, each agent’s dashboard in Miramar:Agent will display their RTS for each state theybecame appointed in. They will also receive an email from Miramar:Agent/Cloverconfirming their appointment and RTS status for eachState. PLEASE NOTE- Once an appointment is pending it can take 2-5 business days(depending on their state) for them to become RTS. GA & NJ take the longest 4-5business days.

6. Background checks: are they required by CMS? Is this a requirement of the FMO?a. This happens as part of the appointment process via Gorman/SE. It is a requirement that

every appointed agent (RTS or not) passes a Level 1 background check.

7. Does Clover Health cover the state appointment cost in Miramar:Agent?Clover covers two states at no cost to the agent. Any additional state selected by the agents willcost $6 per additional state selected.

8. Does Clover verify that each agent is licensed in each state they plan to sell?a. Yes, the last step in our appointment process is an automated license check that Gorman

runs directly through NIPR. The check is completed daily by Gorman, so the agent mustremain licensed through the entire year in order to continue receiving their commissionsand ability to sell Clover.

9. Agent needs to move back to AHIP upload step?a. Message [email protected] email and provide agent name and NPN.

10. Agent needs to submit a “re-check” (see below - it will be on agents dashboard) if they arepending or updated their name in Miramar. The agent's name must match EXACTLY in Miramaras their state license or they will receive “SYSTEM ADMIN REVIEW” error.

11. If an agent says “regulatory hold - Admin Pending” on their dashboard.a. Have the agent email a letter to [email protected] to explain their

regulatory hold. Our team will review within 1-2 business days and proceed accordingly.

12. What is the agent's writing number?

a. Agent’s NPN

13. How many attempts do brokers get to complete the exam in Miramar?

a. 3 attempts and must score an 85 or higher

14. Agent puts in a unique code in Miramar and asks for a “group change” or to “cancel”.

We recommend selecting the group change as downlines and direct agencies are receiving new codes for2022. The group change comes to Contracting and we will approve or deny it within 24 business hours.
