HONORABLE JENIFER M. HARRIS

Judge Jenifer Harris has presided as a circuit judge for the Ninth Judicial Circuit (Orlando) Florida since 2007. She has served in the probate, domestic, juvenile, and criminal divisions. Immediately after investiture, she became part of the Education Committee for the Florida Judicial Conference and has served as the criminal track lead for the past three years. In addition, she regularly lectures at statewide conferences on a variety of topics, including technology, evidence, constitutional issues, and legal updates. Prior to becoming a judge, she worked as an assistant public defender in Orlando and Gainesville. Judge Harris is an adjunct professor at Barry University School of Law teaching constitutional criminal procedure and criminal law. She has previously taught as an adjunct for the University of Florida, University of Central Florida, and University of North Florida. Judge Harris received her bachelor's degree, Juris Doctor with honors, and Master’s degree in sociology/criminology from the University of Florida. She recently co-authored “Florida Criminal Practice and Procedure.” Judge Davis is an alumna of The National Judicial College and has served as faculty since 2015.

HONORABLE PATRICK N. HARRIS

Judge Patrick N. Harris has served as a judge on the Fairfield County Municipal Court in Ohio since 2003. Previously, he served as county administrator for three years. Judge Harris began his legal career with the Athens County Child Support Enforcement Agency and subsequently the Fairfield County Child Support Enforcement Agency. Thereafter, he joined the Lancaster City District Attorney’s Office before becoming an assistant prosecuting attorney in the Fairfield County District Attorney’s Office. Judge Harris received a bachelor’s degree in science and math from Bowling Green State University and Juris Doctor from the Ohio State University College of Law. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Fairfield County Bar Association, and the Ohio Municipal and County Court Judge’s Association, and former co-chair of the Specialized Docket Committee of the Ohio Judicial Conference. He previously served as faculty of the Ohio Judicial College, and was on the Ohio Attorney General’s Task Force on Criminal Justice and Mental Illness and the Ohio Forensic Strategies Workgroup. Judge Harris is an alumnus of The National Judicial College and joined its faculty in 2015.
