The control panel that uses a graphics display to indicate what the unit is doing at any given time. The heart of the Oxipur unit, the resin column, contains a granular material that has the ability to absorb sulphuric acid while rejecting a solution of weakly acidic aluminium sulphate to waste. The acid can readily be recovered from the resin with a simple water wash. Oxipur unit has the flexibility to be connected to one tank or several tanks. It’s employs a simple PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) in a control panel that use a graphic display to indicate what the unit is doing at any given time. The efficiency of the Oxipur Acid recovery up to 98% is achieved thanks to its special technology and perfect dosing of treated bath and water back flow. Infact the Inlet and outlet of acid and water are drived special Flow meters designed and programmed according the exchange capacity of the resin. A diaphragm pump mounted on the Oxipur unit transfers anodising solution from the bath, through a special cartridge filter. A

cycle, which consists of two basic steps, then begins. During the first step, filtered acid is pumped though the resin column. Flow

rate is controlled by the dedicated flow meter. While the acid is absorbed by the resin particles, aluminium sulphate solution

passes through as a waste. Then water is pumped through the resin bed, removing the sulphuric acid (Second step). Water flow

rate is controlled by the dedicated flow meter. This acid stream is returned to the anodising tank being treated. The total cycles

lasts three to 20-25 minutes. The Oxipur unit can continuously cycle in this manner until a desired purity level is reached or it can

be operated intermittently to maintain a presetted level. When multiple anodising tanks are to be treated Oxipur unit can be

equipped with an automatic multi tank selector Manifold. System consist of a number of set of pneumatic valves and fittings

correspondent to the anodising tanks to be treated. Each set include valves and fitting for feed and product lines. A simple

regulation on the control board allow to set the number of cycles for each tank according to the different Aluminium

concentrations. Furthermore with Oxipur it’s possible to select manually the tank to be treated and replace or change the tank as
