But when the work day is through, both Georg and Amalia raptur- ously write to an anon- ymous lonely-hearts pen pal, and it doesn’t take long for the audi- ence to see that they’re in love with one another without realizing it. Though he comes across as kind and charming,he is really a shallow wom- anizer interested only in his own advancement. Mr. Maraczek: Bari- tone. Owner of Marac- zek’s Parfumerie. His dedication to the trade is rivaled only by his faith- fulness to his wife. With a commanding pres- ence, he is forward, blunt and runs a tight ship. Georg Nowack: Ten- or/Baritone. An estab- lished employee of Ma- raczek’s Parfumerie, he is a hopeless romantic. Shy, intelligent and soft spoken, he is like the son Mr.Maraczek never had. Amalia Balash: So- prano. Campbellsville Uni-versity’s 2019 Home-coming play, produced by the Campbellsville University Theater Department in con-junction with Town Hall Productions, will be “She Loves Me.”
