The Offertory was $ 200 below average -- in fourth place over six years, just like attendance.

Church,” “St. Joe’s” or any other variation is refused. For uniformity’s sake, let’s all try to make all donations to our parish always read: St. Joseph’s Church. And, of course, if you are donating to the parish, never make your check payable to the pastor. FISCAL ACCOUNTABILITY___ The Archdiocese of New York takes seriously the stewardship of your donations. If you have know-

ledge of, or reason to suspect, misconduct, please report your concerns by using the internet hotline, www.reportlineweb.com/ADNY; or by calling toll free to 877-820-0541. Both are available twenty-four hours a day. It may interest you to know that our parish was audited last spring and, although some of our routines were a bit antiquated ( like the pastor him-self ), our books reconciled perfectly across a two-year period. FINANCE COUNCIL: MEETING, MARCH 10___ At our last meeting, we all failed to set a date for the late winter or the early spring. The pastor has chosen Tuesday, March 10, for us to assemble and assess our current financial situation. Although this is short notice, please make every effort to attend. PARISH SOCIETIES BEGIN AGAIN: HOLY NAME SOCIETY____

Holy Name Society members attend the morning Masses next Sun-day, March 8. The regular monthly meeting takes place on Tuesday, March 10, at Danny’s Inn, meeting at 6 PM for the traditional St. Patrick’s Supper.
