Antarctica wanted to change their image fast. With significant growth in their com-pany and some exciting news releases in September, they had approximately 3 weeks to overhaul their print and web material.

With all this material, my job was to create a look and feel that is consistent with the company’s image, and carry that throughout all collateral of the company.

The collateral created in the 3 weeks included:> Logo rework> Envelopes, Letterheads and Postcards> Company Overview, white paper and success story documents (PDF’s and print)> Full website overhaul

Jervn.com was a website created in collaboration with our design partner cliq.squintcreative.ca.

The website is a portfolio site that showcases Jeremy’s photographic genius. Simple, yet elegant, the site provides an avenue for him to express his ideas. With a flexible backend created using our in-house Lotus Content Management System (CMS), he is able to update his library of photo artwork with simplicity and ease.

Ecstatic Designs was created in collaboration with their design team, Lotus Creations was responsible in implementing their designs using our Lotus Content Management System (LCMS).

With our LCMS, Ecstatic staff could now easily update their site content, keeping up to date with their ever growing client list. In addition, we added a newletter module that allows them to produce newsletter articles that they can produce on a monthly basis.

Ecstatic Designs Inc. specializes in creative design focused on delivering brand identity through a variety of mediums. We take on creative challenges from com-panies that demand something current and attractive, yet functional and informative.

Winn Devon is a site that is specialized for the art dealer market. The sites main focus is their database of artwork, which carries their full line of art products avail-able for purchasing.

In order to make it suitable for their user base, we implemented an advanced search feature that has a wide array of search options for their artwork. Logged in users also get additional options with additional views of price and product codes.

Because the site is updated so frequently, and by a wide variety of people, we implemented an alternative solution for updating the site. Using Excel, most of their staff could update the spreadsheet with ease. Once the update is complete, the spreadsheet is exported as a tab separated file and then imported into the data-base. Images are also automatically resized with the Lotus CMS engine, making the site function with consistency. With this process, they could update hundreds of products on the site within 15 minutes!

Also, with the Lotus CMS, a variety of features has been implemented and changed with ease and efficiency.

The Fugitives wanted a website that they could easily manage and update. Something that is flexible, so that in the future they could make design changes with the user interface with ease.

Using the Lotus CMS, we created a very basic CMS based on their budget. Out of the box, Lotus CMS uses a very flexible templating system that does not include any sort of logic code. What this means is that they could hire any web designer and retemplate the site with a new design without having to hire a web developer/programmer to help in the templating process. The system also makes the process of redesign much easier and simpler, a departure from the current templating systems used by Joomla and Drupal.

The Lailey Wallace site wanted a revamp. Something that would modernize their site, make it easy to update, and make it look attractive. In addition, they wanted the site to be useful for their clients.

In response to their needs, using the Lotus CMS, we created some custom modules that interacted with the Flash application, a photo module, a document module, an email module, a print formatting module and a form module. All these together help make the site a functional and friendly site that people can come to browse, print and email potential listings to friends and family members.

Paris Cues is cue manufacturer that specializes in custom finishing that caters to the buyers requirements and needs.

Using the Lotus CMS, we implemented an e-Commerce module that enables them to track orders that have been made, and with payments going through paypal.co.uk.

Clients buying cues have the option of selecting custom options available for them. This information is then stored in the database and a custom order is forwarded for manufacturing.

LSDesign is a graphic design powerhouse that focuses on all aspects of new media design. As a partnership, we’ve established a business model where LSDesign focuses primarily on the design front, and I focus on the programming front.

In order to manage the site more efficiently, we decided that it would be much better if the sites content is dynamically powered.
