cup all-purpose flour1 cups granulated sugar2⁄3 cup cocoa powder

tsp baking powdertsp saltcup semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 325° F. Line bottom and sides of 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper or foil. Leave about 4 inches ofoverhang on two opposite sides. These serve as handles to remove brownies from pan in one piece, so there should be enoughoverhang to have a solid grip. Spray parchment or foil with canola oil. In medium bowl, mix together canola oil, vanilla andeggs until fully combined. In large, separate bowl, whisk flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt together. Slowly whisk liq-uid ingredients into dry ingredients, stirring constantly. Fold in chocolate chips. Spread brownie batter evenly in lined pan. Bakefor 20 to 25 minutes. Cool completely on rack. Remove from pan and trim off any overly crusty parts. Line baking sheet withparchment paper. Melt milk chocolate chips in double boiler. Add canola oil and stir until smooth. Dip one candy/lollipop stickinto melted chocolate (this will help brownie adhere better to stick). Scoop up about 1 Tbsp of brownie. Form brownie ontostick, making sure brownie is nice, round and secure. Immediately after molding it to stick, dip pops one at a time into meltedchocolate. Allow some chocolate to get onto sticks to help keep them secure. Dip into different toppings as desired. Place sticksinto plastic foam block to keep them upright as they set. Once all pops are finished, place in refrigerator for about 30 minutes toset. When finished, store in an airtight container in refrigerator or cool place for up to one week. 1 cup butter, softened2 tablespoons water1 teaspoon peppermint extract2 large eggs1 cup finely crushed candy canes1⁄2 cup slivered almonds, toasted4 squares white chocolate, melted

Preheat oven to 350˚ F; line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper. Combine flour, baking powder and salt inlarge bowl; set aside. Cream sugar, butter, water, extract and eggs in large bowl with electric mixer at mediumspeed until well blended.Add flour mixture, 1⁄2 cupcrushed candy canes andalmonds. Beat on lowspeed until just blended.Divide dough in half.Shape each half into 10x3-inch log; place each log onseparate prepared cookiesheet. Bake each log 30minutes or until center isfirm to the touch. Cool 15to 20 minutes. Using a ser-rated knife, cut logs diago-nally into 1⁄2-inch slices.Place on cookie sheets.Bake 15 minutes; turn andbake 12 to 15 minuteslonger or until edges arebrowned. Cool completelyon wire racks. Dip eachcookie halfway into melt-ed chocolate. Beforechocolate solidifies, dipends into remaining 1⁄2cup crushed candy canes.Store in tightly coveredcontainer—and pin thepicture of what you’vecreated onto Pinterest.
