1 RathausmarktAround 80 merchants, handicraft workers and market traders from across Germany will again present their wares in front of the beautiful setting of Hamburg Town Hall. The “Fliegender Weihnachtsmann” (flying Father Christmas) will again be a special attraction. Three times a day he will fly over the heads of the visitors in his sleigh and tell the story of Christmas.21/11 - 23/12/2016, daily 11 am - 9 pm, Fri and Sat until 10 pm

4 Gerhart-Hauptmann-Platz / Mönckebergbrunnen“Traditions in the Winter Forest” will again be the central meeting point of the city centre this year. Merchandise, artisans’ crafts, mulled wine and feasting can be found in the festively decorated market stalls of the “Winter Forest.” A spirited Christmas programme provides for a unique and tranquil atmosphere.26/11 - 30/12/2016, food stalls 10 am - 11 pm, artisans’ crafts until 9 pm (closed 25/12)
