Disclaimer and Terms and Conditions1. The Short Messaging Service (‘SMS’) provided to Visa Applicants is to update on current status to the applicant with regards to Visa Application Process. The informationprovided by SMS is based among others on the information provided by the Embassy/Consulate. While VisaCenter ensures that information is made available to thevisa applicant promptly and accurately, the Visa Applicant shall at all times be responsible for providing and maintaining an SMS text compatible mobile phone numberwhere VisaCenter can send text messages regarding the status of the Visa Application to the Visa Applicant. The Visa Applicant is responsible for ensuring connection to amobile network capable of receiving the SMS Services. The Services, once obtained, will be available to the Visa Applicant from the time of application till complete processing of the application or such other period asVisaCenter may advise via our website located at www.VisaCenter.ca . VisaCenter reserves the right to withdraw this service at any time and without notice.4. The Visa Applicant must not use (or permit any third party to use) the SMS Service to send any message or communication which is Spam, illegal, offensive, abusive,indecent, obscene or menacing or causes annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety or infringes the rights of third parties. VisaCenter reserves the right to withdraw theSMS service to such Visa Applicant if The Visa Applicant is in breach of this paragraph 4. VisaCenter may also withdraw the Services if VisaCenter in its sole discretionapprehends that the SMS service is being used for such purposes.5. For operational reasons VisaCenter may vary the technical specification of the Services with or with out notice. In the event of any change to the Service these Terms andConditions is to be treated as varied accordingly.6. The time to deliver the SMS is dependent on several factors such as upon the traffic on the mobile network and whether The Visa Applicant mobile phone is within reachand switched on and cannot therefore be guaranteed by VisaCenter. VisaCenter is not a mobile network operator and does not guarantee the delivery of SMS textmessages.7. The Visa Applicant acknowledges that the SMS Services may, at any time, be adversely affected by problems with The Visa Applicant mobile phone network, type ofmobile account, force majeure events including, without limitation, interference to the network coverage. VisaCenter is not responsible or liable to The Visa Applicant for anyloss, damage or expenses incurred directly or indirectly by The Visa Applicant as a result of any difficulties experienced by the Visa Applicant‘s mobile phone service provider.Subject to the constraints described within this paragraph 7, VisaCenter shall carry out the services with reasonable care and skill.8. If The Visa Applicant does not receive SMS relating to these Services. the Visa Applicant should inform VisaCenter through email.9. The SMS service delivers the Visa Application Status based on the information received by VisaCenter from Embassy/Consulate.10. The Visa Applicant agrees to comply with all instructions we may give concerning the Services, including any security instructions. We will be entitled to treat any failureby Visa Applicant themselves to comply with these instructions as a breach of these Terms and Conditions, which will entitle us to deny Visa Applicant access to the Services.11. The Visa Applicant is responsible for paying charges for the message origination. Charges once paid for SMS service will not be refunded under any circumstances.12. The Visa Applicant shall at its sole risk be responsible for taking all reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized persons gaining access to the Services.13. While VisaCenter takes every precaution transmission of information to transmit information. VisaCenter shall not be responsible or liable for any unforeseen events andcircumstances beyond the reasonable control of VisaCenter.14. VisaCenter may in its sole discretion temporarily suspend the provision of the Services if such provision could materially affect the quality of any telecommunicationsservice, including the Services, provided by VisaCenter.15. VisaCenter specifically excludes all liability of any kind (including negligence) in respect of any third party information or other material made available on, or which canbe accessed using SMS text services.

Registration with Canadian Embassies

The world unfortunately is not a safe place. When you travel abroad and surrounded by foreign environment many situations, in some cases hostile may arise, like terrorist attacks, banditry or even war. Plus there are natural disasters and catastrophes.

Visacenter.ca can help you to make your contact information in the country where you are traveling available to Canadian Embassy/Consular officials responsible for helping Canadians abroad.

What is the registration?

Upon your request the Department of Foreign Affairs in Ottawa (DFAIT) will be provided with your major contact information in the country of your travel as well as your emergency contact in Canada. In the event there is a need to contact Canadians to offer urgent advice or evacuation during a natural disaster or civil unrest, or to inform them of a family emergency at home, Canadian Embassy/Consulate contacts all registered Canadian citizens in that country.

OFFICIAL REGISTRATION IS RECOMMENDED for ALL Canadians traveling abroad for business or pleasure, or residing abroad, irrespectively of the length of travel.

It is best to register BEFORE leaving Canada.

What should I do to register?

To register, you are required to fill-out short Registration of Canadians Abroad Form with your basic contact information.

What is the cost?

The cost of peace of mind is just CAD16.95 (HST included) per person.

If the Embassy/Consulate approves the application and issues a visa,you may travel to China. Effective from 0 am., 28 September 2020, foreign nationals holding VALID CHINESERESIDENCE PERMITS for Work, Personal matters, and Reunion are allowed to enterChina with no need for applying for new visas. More info available here.

Chinese Embassy and consulates in Canada oblige all visa applicants ages 14 to 70(inclusive) to submit fingerprints at their facilities in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal,Calgary and Vancouver. From now in addition to its regular service Visa Centerprovides convenience of fingerprint collection appointments after we receive yourapplication file.

After getting your China visa application file materialswe will:- check and ensure that there are no errors and omissions on your application form and it fitsinto the strict framework of Chinese consular prerequisites.- check and ensure that your photo is up to high standards of China consulate requirements.- check and ensure that your visa support documents contain all must-haves to satisfy Chinavisa officer at the consulate.- submit your China visa application information to Chinese consulate and arrange date andtime for you to come to submit your fingerprints.- provide you with appointment ticket and properly prepared application form for you to attendfingerprinting and application procedure.

More detailed information on required documents

Basic Documents:- Actual valid passport must be submitted at the time of fingerprinting. (Valid at least for 8months from the date of submission for visa & min. 2 empty pages)Note: Clients submitting to our Vancouver office must present their old passport in original ifthe current one has issue date after Jan. 01, 2015.

- One color photo. (Photo facility is available on-site - TORONTO, MARKHAM & VANCOUVER).Please note that photos from photo booth or home-shot photos are not acceptable. No scarfs,head wear or any kind of jewelry and earrings are allowed. If you are not visiting our officeand prefer to courier your documents you must have your photos done in accordance with thefollowing specifications: Size: 48x33 mm; the photo must be taken within 6 months, with fullface, front view, against white background and has a time stamp with address of photo studioat the back (Full China visa photo requirements are available here).

- Non-Canadian applicants must provide the original of the document confirming theircurrent resident status in Canada (PR Card, Landed Document, Work Permit). There is noexpedited visa processing for non-Canadian passport holders.- In case the name on the national passport has a different spelling than on the residentdocument, official Name Change Certificate is required.

- Former Chinese & Hong Kong citizens, as well as all those born in China & HongKong are required to provide:Photocopy of previous Chinese passports or previous Chinese visas (applicable to foreigncitizens those who were Chinese citizens and have obtained foreign citizenship). If you areapplying for a Chinese visa for the first time, you should provide your previous Chinesepassport held and a photocopy of its data page. If you have obtained Chinese visas before andwant to apply for a Chinese visa with a renewed foreign passport that does not contain anyChinese visa, you should present the photocopy of the previous passport's data page and thephoto page if it is separate, as well as the previous Chinese visa page. (If your name on thecurrent passport differs from that on the previous one, you must provide an official documentof name change.)NOTE: Persons WITH DUAL citizenship, ONE of which IS Canadian, must apply WITH theirCanadian passports only. Applicants WITH other THAN Canadian passports must provide theORIGINAL of the document confirming their current resident STATUS IN Canada (PR Card,Landed Document, WORK Permit).

Toronto Specific requirements: Applicants of the Chinese descent - 1)Those who have beenborn in Canada must present: a) Original of long form birth certificate.b) Both parents'passport and citizenship card(originals) to proof their nationality in the year the applicant hasbeen born. 2)Those who has been born in China must present: a) Original of birth certificate.b) Both parents' passport and citizenship card (originals) to proof their nationality in the yearthe applicant has been born or applicant's PR card or landed documents(originals)

Vancouver Specific requirements: Applicants with passports from India and African countries(except South Africa) applying in Vancouver require to present bank statement.

Q2 VISA - FAMILY VISA - Issued to those who intend to visit relatives who are Chinesecitizens residing in China or foreigners with permanent residence status in China; theintended duration of stay is limited to no more than 180 days.Required additional documents:(1) An invitation letter issued by a Chinese citizen or a foreign citizen with a Chinesepermanent residence permit who lives in China. The invitation letter should contain:a) Information on the applicant (full name, gender, date of birth, etc.)b) Information on the visit (purpose of visit, number of intended entries into China, arrival anddeparture dates, place(s) to be visited, relations between the applicant and the invitingindividual, financial source for expenditures)c) Information on the inviting individual (name, contact number, address, signature etc.)

China Business Visa Requirements (additionally to the requirements above)

F VISA - EXCHANGES, VISITS, STUDY TOURS AND OTHER ACTIVITY VISA - Issued tothose who are invited to China for non-profit cultural and academic exchanges, conferenceattendance, study tours, compete in non-commercial games and other activities.

Required additional documents:An invitation letter issued by a relevant entity or individual in China. The invitation shouldcontain: (1) Information on the applicant (full name, gender, date of birth, etc.) (2) Informationon the planned visit (arrival and departure dates, place(s) to be visited, etc.) (3) Information onthe inviting entity or individual (name, contact telephone number, address, official stamp,signature of the legal representative or the inviting individual).

M VISA - COMMERCE AND TRADE VISA - Issued to those who are invited to China forcommercial and trade activities (visiting clients, suppliers, visiting company branch orheadquarters, handle corporate related business).Required additional documents:(1) Documents on the commercial activity issued by a trade partner in China, or trade fairinvitation or other invitation letters issued by relevant entity or individual. The invitation lettershould contain:a) Information on the applicant (full name, gender, date of birth, etc.).b) Information on the planned visit (purpose of visit, number of intended entries into China, arrival and departure dates, place(s) to be visited, relations between the applicant and theinviting entity or individual, financial source for expenditures).c) Information on the inviting entity or individual (name, contact telephone number, address,official stamp, signature of the legal representative or the inviting individual).To qualify for Multiple Entry Business visa applicant must have completed two entries intoChina within the last 24 months or have previously expired multiple entry visa in last 12months and invitation letter should explicitly state that multiple visa is required.

Z VISA - WORK VISA - Issued to those who intend to work in China (those taking up a post oremployment, or giving commercial performances in China)Required additional documents:One of the following documents:(1) Foreigners Employment Permit of the People's Republic of China issued by Chinesegovernment authorities for Human Resources and Social Security, as well as Invitation Letterof Duly Authorized Entity or Confirmation Letter of Invitation issued by relevant Chineseentities.(2) Permit for Foreign Experts Working in China issued by the State Bureau of Foreign Expertsas well as Invitation Letter of Duly Authorized Entity or Confirmation Letter of Invitationissued by relevant Chinese entities.(3) Registration Certificate of Resident Representative Offices of enterprises of foreigncountries(regions) issued by Chinese authorities of industrial and commercial administration,as well as Invitation Letter of Duly Authorized Entity or Confirmation Letter of Invitationissued by relevant Chinese entities as well as Invitation Letter of Duly Authorized Entity orConfirmation Letter of Invitation issued by relevant Chinese entities.(4) An approval document for commercial performances issued by the Chinese government

authorities for cultural affairs or Invitation Letter of Duly Authorized Entity or ConfirmationLetter of Invitation issued by relevant Foreign Affairs Office of provincial governments ofChina.(5)Letter of Invitation to Foreigners for Offshore Petroleum Operations in China issued byChina National Offshore Oil Corporation;Holders of Z Visa shall, within 30 days from the date of their entry, apply to the exit/entryadministrations of public security organs under local people's governments at or above thecounty level in the proposed places of residence for foreigners' residence permits.For a single, double or multiple entry business (F) visa, an invitation letter on the letter-heador an invitation card from the relevant Chinese government department, or local government(county or town level and above), or Chinese companies, or business enterprises, orgovernment institutions is required.
