About HITHarbin Institute of Technology was founded in 1920. From its beginning, HIT has received preferential support from the central government. In 2009, HIT was listed as one of the top nine key universities in China. In 2017, a circular was released by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance, and the National Development and Reform Commission to finalize the list of Chinese universities under the Double First-Class Initiative. Eligibility
The applicants for China Discovery 2019 should fulfill the following requirements:Must be at least 18 but no more than 30 years of age as of June
10, 2019, be currently attending college/university, and be in
good health.
The program is conducted in English. Students are
required to provide proof of English proficiency if their first
language or teaching language in home institution is not
English.
Please provide one of the following documents as reference:IELTS: a score of 5.5 or above
TOEFL: a score of 80 or above
Other : English proficiency certificate from student home
university.
