  • ALWAYS MONEY OF CLANTON

The Chilton County Chamber of Commerce welcomes ALWAYS MONEY OF CLANTON as a new member! ALWAYS MONEY was formerly called The Money Store, but they have chosen to make a fresh start based on the belief that they will always be there for their customers and employees.

We really care about our customers, and we treat them with integrity and respect. Having grown up in Clanton, I know many people here and am pleased to have the opportunity to help those with short-term cash needs, says Jaime Smitherman, branch manager.

We honestly appreciate our customers, says Kristina Worley, customer service representative.

The services provided by ALWAYS MONEY are numerous: business for title loans, Western Union, check cashing and cash advances. Recently, they launched a new prescription card program which is called WellCard Rx. The card is picked up at ALWAYS MONEY and is taken to one of the listed pharmacies for a savings up to 65 percent on prescriptions even including some pet medications.

ALWAYS MONEY is community friendly and has participated in the annual Peach Jam Jubilee. They

held a Halloween Bash on Oct. 31 where parents were welcome to bring their children dressed in Halloween costumes for free games, candy and lots of fun.

ALWAYS MONEY is owned by Frank and Charlotte Evans and is headquartered in Montgomery. This business is more than 32 years old, has more than 100 branches and is located in three states.

For more information visit their website at www.alwaysmoney.com or call 205-755-6661.

    WANT MORE MOTIVATED EMPLOYEES?

Personally take the time to say thank you for work well done or extra effort. Do it often and with sincerity.

Listen to your employees concerns, problems, issues and needs. Dont just give them lip service but realize they are real for them.

Give specific feedback. Tell them when they are doing things right or well, and tell them when they need to change behavior. Remember, you get the behavior you reward.

Recognize, promote and reward high performers.

Keep your employees well informed about organization direction, growth plans, etc.

Involve employees in decisions that affect them or that they must carry out.

Provide adequate and ongoing job skills and general training that will improve their attitudes. Training is seen by many employees as an excellent benefit and contributes to employee loyalty.

Personal growth is not an option for success in the future; it is a requirement.
