Jerusalem had a very special place. It had a pool surrounded by a lot of people.Every so often, the waters moved. God would send an angel to move the water and the first sick man who bathed in the moving water, was healed.

How fabu-lous!

A brief si-lence.

God is love. That place must have been so nice.God, in His great love, has left us a special place for each of us to enjoy. His nature.Being able to enjoy His blessings is wonderful.

There was a crowd of sick, blind, deaf, and paralyzed people. They were sad and had no hope especially one man who was paralyzed. He could not go to the pool of water because he was para-lyzed. He was sure that he’d never be healed.

Noooo!(sad face`)Really?

Have you ever been sick?We may have different diseases in our bodies, like chickenpox, colds or other disease.Sin is also like a disease. Give the definition of sin. Romans 3:23We've all sinned. We do bad things. Could it be that, like the paralytic, we don’t have a solu-tion?

Sick people around the pool.Kids fighting.Faces of evil.Written words: fights, screams, and rudeness

Suddenly someone came up to the paralyzed man and started talking to him. It was Jesus who came up because he had realized that this man had been sick for a longtime. The paralytic was paralyzed sitting there for 38 years.Jesus came and said:Do you want to be healed? The man wanted to heal himself, but never made it to the water on time.

(Smile)

The paralytic said yes!

Christ died for me and for you.Someone remembered us too. Many years ago, God sent Jesus to this earth to save us.Though Jesus never sinned, He decided to give His life for all sinners.Romans 5:8That was the greatest gift God could give each of us.Because of Him, we have the pos-sibility to be saved.

Jesus talking to the paralyzed man.Jesus on the Cross and the Empty Tomb.

The paralytic said Yes! In a single moment Jesus said stand up, take you bed and go home

Wonderful!

You know what?

Today we have the possibility of receiving that gift from God, but we must do two things. One is to believe and the other is to ask for forgiveness for all the bad things we have done. You need to choose to receive that gift from God.Do you want to do it today?Pray to the Lord. John 1:12

What about you?

Jesus now lives in your heart. We can be sure that he will always be with us. But if we sin again we must pray to ask the Lord for forgiveness.

King Darius lived in his kingdom. He was nice to Daniel. He knew that Daniel was very faithful to his God.The King put Daniel in a very high position, but he kept turning his life away from God.

Us

But in that kingdom...

We wake up, go to school, come here to hear about Jesus. But...What do we do?We have learned that we can hear God's voice or hear the voice of Satan who wants to turn us away from God.

King in his palace.Children study-ing the Bible.Children telling their friends to do something bad.

There were people who didn't be-lieve in God and wanted Daniel's destruction. They tricked the king into making a law which said that anyone who didn’t worship the king would be thrown into the lion’s den.It was a trap for Daniel. The decree came out, but Daniel said he would continue to pray and worship God every day as usual.

You know what?

What did Daniel do?

We also have difficult moments, and it's up to us to decide to do good or to follow what others say. We're afraid of what will happen.Satan wants us to turn away from the Lord. He wants us to do evil. He wants to live with us. He wants us to follow his ways. The Bible says something im-portant in Luke 11:28.What will you decide to do?

Those who saw Daniel praying went to the king to accuse Daniel of breaking the decree that had been made. Now the wanted to throw him into the lion’s den. Daniel didn't despair, but just trusted God.They took Daniel, threw him into the lion’s den, and closed it.Daniel prayed earnestly, and trusted God that he would help him emerge victorious.

But...

What did the king do?

What are you doing? Are you brave? Do you trust in God? What are you doing? In 1 Corinthians 15:57, it says we can have victories in Jesus Christ. How would you act?Do you trust God that he will make you victorious? Or do you let yourself be overcome?

The king went to see if Daniel was still alive. He had hope that God had taken care of Daniel. When the door was opened, they saw Daniel alive. An angel had taken care of him and closed the mouths of the lions. How wonderful! Daniel emerged victorious over his enemies.

How won-derful!

Likewise, we can emerge victo-rious.Whenever Satan wants to tempt you, ask the Lord for help. That way, your victory will be assured.Isaiah 41:13—The Lord's prom-ise.We are victorious in Jesus.Pray with the children.

Have you seen a plant grow? There are several growth steps in a seedThe First step is to find a seed. The best seed. Then it's planted in the ground. The earth gives it minerals.

You know what?Let's go back to the second step.

It works the same way with us when we first hear Jesus. We learn about Jesus and accept Him in our hearts. It's like sowing a seed in our lives.

The seed needs water. We have to start watering the seed so that it can sprout. The plant needs water to obtain nutrients and refresh itself.

And weDoes the plant need light?

We have heard about Jesus, but we must do several things in order to begin to grow. One of them is to read the Bible. There are many promises in the Bible, and special indications on how we can learn more every day.In Psalms 119:105 it ex-plains that the Bible is a light that illuminates us and tells us what to do

WaterPlant starting to sprout.Children reading theBible.LampBigger plant that has grown.

Plants also need sun to grow. The sun gives it energy. This means that the sun gives the plant strength to make its own energy. Sunlight caus-es the plant to transform carbon dioxide into good nutrients that help it grow. Without the sun, a plant can't grow.

You know what?

Let's go back to the plant.

We all need a special sunMalachi 4:2Jesus is the sun of righ-teousness.We always need to get close to Christ. That is why God has given us prayer—so that we can speak to God.We can ask for forgiveness and repent this way. How Wonderful!

In Matthew 24 it tells us that certain things will happen before Jesus comes. Many will say they are Christ in the hopes to deceive us and to take us away from the true Jesus.

How can that happen? Are other things going to happen?

Today there are people who, as in Matthew 24:5, say: "I am the Christ". They also say that they are the voice of Christ, and thus must obey what they say even if it doesn’t comply with the Bible. They deceive people by ask-ing them for money to fix their problems.

One day the general became seriously ill.He had leprosy. He went to see many doctors, but none of them found a solution for his disease. The girl heard that Naaman was sick and knew that she could help him get cured.

You know what?

How did the girl have acted?

Something similar happens to us. We know that there are many sick people. Sick in their bodies and soul. They are sinners and sin destroys them more and more every day.We who already know Jesus know the solution for them. You know what it is? Now we must take courage and do some-thing.

She appreciated her master and knew how to help him.

What hap-pened to the general?

We must also go and talk to people who do not know of Je-sus. They don't know that there is someone who can give them forgiveness for their sins.Like the little girl, we can't keep quiet. There are many ways to talk about Jesus.Flyers, cards or talking to our friends.Luke 8:39

What would happen to three friends?

When you're told to do something wrong. (Giving an example like hurting someone or stealing, etc.) remember the promise of Deuter-onomy 31:6 You must be brave and say NO THANK YOU! God has promised that if we are faithful, He will be with us and nev-er leave us.
