Highly Enantioselective Michael Addition of 2-Oxindoles to Vinyl Selenone in RTILs Catalyzed by a Cinchona Alkaloid-Based Thiourea. — A series of chiral selenones (III) is readily prepared by asymmetric Michael addition of oxindoles (I) to vinyl selenone (II) in room temperature ionic liquid.
