Amorphous Gd–Co films are deposited on Cu by potentiostatic electrolysis of DMF solutions containing (TosO) 3 Gd, CoCl 2 , and Bu 4 NBF 4 . The electroreduction of Gd(III) is irreversible; transfer coefficient and diffusion coefficient of Gd(III) are given. The films are homogeneous, dense, and exhibit high adhesion on the Cu substrate. Heat treatment at 500 C (1 h) results in crystallization of the film and formation of the alloy Co 3 Gd. — (LIU, PENG; YANG, QIQIN; TONG, YEXIANG; YANG, YANSHENG; Electrochim.
