Mim is challenging you to a memory verse shoot-out! (Click to see Mim in action!)

● You can write the words of the verse on paper cups.

● Line them up (in order) and shoot them with a nerf gun, or water gun… or you can use elastic bands to shoot them…

● Then line the cups up out of order but knock them down in the right order…

● if you knock off the wrong one, put it back in place and keep going? (start again??)

If you don’t have paper cups you could use cardboard cards folded over… (index cards would work well)

Or you could write the words in chalk on a fence… shoot at them with a water gun, or try throwing a water balloon… As the words disappear… can you still say the memory verse?

Use the cups to stack the verse… Fastest wins… but now it’s tricky cause you have to do it backwards!

Or you could make your own Memory verse puzzle –

● Paste your coloured memory verse sheet onto some cardboard (remember, a cereal box works well for this) – or write out the verse yourself onto a piece of paper, and decorate it. Use lots of colour!

● You can then cut your verse into pieces … try to keep a whole word on each piece - that it will help you learn the verse as you put it together.

● Make it a race with someone in your family. You could either make 2 or you could time each of you putting it together…

● Lost and found puzzle: Hide the pieces around your room for each other, so you have to find them first!

● Or a relay race… you have to pick up the pieces from a pile, one at a time, before running back to the spot where you put the puzzle together..

● Have fun learning together!
